They say that to everyone, it's in their script to tell people to contact their dealership. Don't take it personally. I would tell them every time before they could tell me to use the link that their site was garbage and doesn't give updated info and that's why I was bothering them. Haha. I beat them to the punch.

I asked them specifically for a precise location and rail car number and got this cut-paste response back.

Try again and see if you get a different person. I only had to do that once when someone didn't want to give me the info I asked for. Another time, I was asked why I wanted it so I took the opportunity to educate the chat guy about why we were all asking. He was super cool about it. They won't have much info once it gets on a train until it hits their next point, that's where the automated system of the train company comes in handy.

Just checked UP and there's another status change to "train departure at 2:18p" - that's the second time that status has shown up. Maybe this one is the train to SLC? Est Arrival is still 11/7 4a. To recap UP updates:

It's still showing that it's in Missouri. It was moved finally from the drop off location to the pick up location so hopefully it will be on the way to us soon!

Sounds like some sort of "movement", which can't be bad.

I think I got prematurely excited about the move from 6R to 6U. Harassed chat again today and they said it wont be on a train out of Kansas until the 23rd...and earliest arrival here will be the 29th (seems slow for 8 hours away but whatever) which will be *one WHOLE year* from my purchase...

I think I got prematurely excited about the move from 6R to 6U. Harassed chat again today and they said it wont be on a train out of Kansas until the 23rd...and earliest arrival here will be the 29th (seems slow for 8 hours away but whatever) which will be *one WHOLE year* from my purchase...

What was your original delivery date? Yes, the train seems to take its time getting out of Kansas headed west to Denver/SLC. What's strange is that I have an employee with a car built on 10/18 and her car is on the train with a bunch of us that headed out a couple days ago (to SLC)...I don't know why yours wouldn't be on that train. I'm sure its gathering cars and will be on its way soon.

Looks like the train took a turn north and is headed into Nebraska. Is your wife able to get this view based on railcar #? Mine is TTGX941998 if she's able to look it up. Would be curious if we are the same train. Looks like they pushed out your ETA a day.

Awesome, thanks! And I improved by an hour! I had to look up Roper, but it’s a UP yard in south Salt Lake about 30 min from my dealer. Fingers crossed that by this time next week I could have the car!

Thanks for these numbers, finally got my car # and it looks like the CSX can track it even though its still in Kansas.

Hopefully it will be moving before the weekend and get to dallas for another wait in about 10 days
