What was your original delivery date? Yes, the train seems to take its time getting out of Kansas headed west to Denver/SLC. What's strange is that I have an employee with a car built on 10/18 and her car is on the train with a bunch of us that headed out a couple days ago (to SLC)...I don't know why yours wouldn't be on that train. I'm sure its gathering cars and will be on its way soon.

It was October 13, but I purchased my car at the end of November of last year (although for some reason ford shows my order date as 12/1)

I found this site on the lightning forum that appears to keep track of how long it takes the vehicle to travel from MO to the dealer. It started keeping track of my car about 4 days after it left 6R and went to another ramp. It's just like the one that kept track of travel time from Mexico that is no longer available. Can anyone confirm that it is what I think it is and how accurate it is?

For me it does not correlate to that, because I only moved from 6R to 6U this week, but this is what shows - I guess unless what chat is saying is not real time accurate and it moved before they said it moved?

Checked Union Pacific tracking for my railcar and got the same event (Train arrival 11/4 at 4:07a). I'm using the 800-877-5123 # to check and it is not providing the location like your source. It seems like it did last year...glad you're able to get a more complete picture and thanks for keeping us updated.

Finally was able to pick up my Mach-E.
Car? absolutely LOVE IT! Purchasing experience? worse ever. Thank god Ford is moving away from this model because seriously, its unbelievable the things that people have to deal with in order to purchase a car.

Dealer called me on Tuesday to say it was ready for pick up and I went there that same afternoon after work. First, they tried to get me on a regular loan with a 3.9% APR. I declined and told them that I wanted Ford Options because it was a better product for me, and that they had to honor rates and incentives from back in February which were 2.49% APR for 48 months and $1,000 cash bonus.

They told me they didn't offer Ford Options. Called them out on their bs as respectfully as I could and kinda threatened to call Ford to "mediate". After a long 1-2 hours of back and forth (unbelievable) they agreed to let me use Ford Options. They spent 1 hour trying to figure out how to set up the finance because apparently they've "never done a sale with Ford Options" which is very hard to believe, before they appologized and ask me if I could come back next day. Since dealer is very close to my home, I agreed as I didn't want to be there all night.

Came back Wednesday afternoon and they told me: everything is ready, here's your payment: $780 per month. I told them that I've been running the numbers for the 8 months that I've been waiting for this car and that there was no way in hell my payment could be $780 a month with my trade in + down payment I was doing (I was expecting to be in the $500 range).

Turns out they were sneakily trying to put me on a "Flex Buy" plan which is like a variable APR similar to an ARM on a house. The effective APR in that FlexBuy plan was 7.7%!!! for 75 months!!! lol. I got mad, asked to talk to the manager as they kept insisting the FlexBuy was the same as Ford Options. Guys, If your dealer tries to pull the same one on you: I guarantee you IT IS NOT THE SAME. Manager asked me again to come back the next day since they would need to talk long and hard with Ford Credit for them to be able to do Ford Options correctly. I agreed as long as they increased my trade in value by $500. The manager accepted I think out of sheer embarrasment that none of his employees was able to do this deal right.

Got a call the next day around noon saying that they figured it out and that my monthly payment was $500.87. They sent the contract, signed it, went to pick it up late afternoon and finally I have (one) of my Mach-E's. I ordered my other one from another dealer which just called about 2 hours ago to tell me that is also ready. I'll be picking that up on Saturday. The wait was worth it. This car is great!

Funny sidenote: After everything was done and I was about to leave the sales rep told me this word for word: "if you get a survey for your experience with the dealer, please just lie and put 5 stars on everything" LOL

Yay! I picked up my car yesterday! Dealer (Cronin Ford) was super great to work with!

I don't have a great picture, but for @minders I captured the harmony that is possible between my 2 favorite vehicles! I know it looks like favoritism, but it isn't! It is me going back out the garage and taking a picture so I could stop going out the garage to check that it is actually there!

Dropped by the dealer looking for confirmation that my car was indeed in Nebraska. Vehicle Visibility did not have a current status - it was 4 or 5 days old. Then we checked in VINView and could see on the real time GPS that it was indeed in Nebraska. Awesome!

While I was there I had him try re-adding my cell number to VINView for alerts, but it doesn't seem to have worked. I didn't get a 2nd confirmation text, probably because I'm already in the system. For whatever reason, I haven't gotten an update since Monday (10/31/2022). That's a shame, as this could be a great solution for those of us wanting to track our orders. Who knows - maybe someday it will be. For now, it's been nearly useless. The only useful tracking I've gotten this week has been directly from Union Pacific and @PaperMache for more detailed Union Pacific tracking.

I'm glad to see progress for some of you. My MME was built 9/13, but per Chat and belatedly my dealer, it's been sitting in Kansas City vicinity since 9/25, 40 days so far at Ramp 6R. I presume it's waiting for a ride to California with a bunch of other MMEs. Today, 11/4, is the first day of the latest extension of a delivery ETA. Total wait time to now, eleven months. It's really been hard to hang onto any good feelings about Ford's allocation and distribution processes for the MME.
