Don't be! She did great. What was more scary were the slippery roads in the city full of transplants unaware of how to drive in the snow (no your giant SUV/pickup does not mean impunity). But once I got to i70 it was smooth sailing. Im not going to lie, I drove a little timidly until I hit Evergreen or so but then I realized she was really hugging the road and the ride is just so smooth. Lovely drive to and back from Loveland! When I was gearing up in the lot I had a few people approach and compliment the car. Shes a real looker!

I have to say the sound system is really great, I was prepared for something awful based on posts in this forum. Maybe the cars Ive had in the past just weren't that nice, but my last two were a Lexus and a Volvo so I dont think so...It really does enhance the driving experience to have great sound.

The only bummer is the loss of battery life, so, I was fully charged (I have the extended battery too) when I left the house and by the time I got to Loveland which is more or less 60 miles I had lost about 120 miles of range. Its not a big deal because I think ill be able to get to any ski area for a day trip with no charging, it will just mean the further places I may be going for a weekend could require a charge. No biggie.

I am glad you like it. Loveland drive is uphill so it will use more battery but on way back you should gain miles when you are driving downhill. Also keeping in speed limit will help. Don’t forget to condition the battery before you leave. We are below 20 degree for last few days so battery life is going to hurt for sure.

Seems like we are the very unlucky ones, probably others but from what I gathered mine probably missed a train in early october by like a day and thus has been sitting for a long time. Did you check to see if there are holds on yours? I would have expected it to be on the train with the rest of the CA deliveries recently.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, what is preconditioning? I am still figuring all of this out. Is that like when you tell it what temperature you want before leaving?

BTW, there are a couple of AZ deliveries that are overdue in 9/5 build week thread, and one reported movement in 9/26 week thread.

yeah i need my car before december I figured it would be here already but there’s another personon my railcar with an eta thats almost next year so really these estimates make little sense as we all expected

I went to do paperwork and had to instruct the finance guy how to find Ford Options in SmartVincent. He had never heard of it. We saw the $2500 incentive and rates (2.49%) together on the screen.

He called several people for help and went to the back and eventually came back and said it was a hard to do. (So what? That's your job.) So I said, "Well the car's not here yet so we have some time. Figure it out." And I went home. He called back and the dealer "is not set up to do Ford Options" which to me sounds like they are being lazy.

So we'll see how much of a hassle it's going to be to get Ford Options and the $2500 incentive applied.

She's a beauty! This is my 2nd go around with a Mach E GT but I had forgotten what a pleasure it is to drive. Love the 1 pedal mode - I originally thought I would hate it but after trying it a while it's my preferred mode. Love the wireless Android Auto, love the smooth, quite ride, loving the Rapid Red (first one was Cyber Orange). So cool!

Hang in there everyone who hasn't gotten yours yet - it'll be worth the wait.

No, ETA is still the same for mine, about 9 days from today which seems realistic based on what I have seen. I am hopeful it gets picked up sooner though I would really like to handle the paperwork this coming weekend or Monday if possible

Which dealer? I am part of the 10/17 build week and am picking mine up at Helfman tomorrow! Was only at Pearland for a few days.
