After your current MME, What is your next EV?

Hey guys!

Just thought I would pose a question. After your MME, what will be the next vehicle you may want to buy?

Me personally, I have a Silverado EV on order. The nice customer service people at Chevy (not the dealership, the EV Concierge line) told me that it should arrive in late 2025. I’ll have my MME paid off by then so I’ll be keeping it and adding the truck.

MME for the 120+ mile daily commute, and the Silverado for fun! With a 400 mile range, that is Vegas without stopping. (I live in Los Angeles).

My other dark horse (Second option) is to get the Rivian 1RS… Hopefully they have one at the LA auto show this year. I’m going to see everything this year when I go on Thanksgiving.

That’s my plan…. How about you guys?

Never buying a Chevy, nor a Rivian.

Mach-E will likely get swapped for a 3 row EV when/if Ford comes out with it, which may or may not be called an Explorer, likely in 2025 also.

Will keep my MME until the wheels fall off. Planning to trade in my ICE Kia Telluride for a Kia EV9 in 2-5 years. After driving the MME, no way am I ever buying another ICE car.

I have both a Silverado & Denali EV reservation from 3 years ago but don't think I will go thru with either...

I came from a Ford '22 Lightning EV and while it was a perfect, well engineered & designed truck but I traded her in because of the urban commutes, tight spaces, U turns and lack of truck things to do....

My next EV might be the Fisker Ocean Pear to go along with the similar looks of the MME.

Getting a Rivian R1S in a few months. Just not sure if we'll be getting rid of our MME or not.

Probably a Tesla Model Y after it gets the same refresh the Model 3 has, whenever that is. Can’t believe I just uttered these words but the value proposition of the Model Y vs Mach-E makes this a no brainer for me, unless something changes in the meantime. I certainly won’t be an early adopter of any new EV proposition. Love the Mach-E but feel like Ford treat us UK customers as second rate citizens. I have a MY21 and still no BlueCruise and the refreshed UI is due “soon”. But worst of all, no proactive recall to replace our HVBJBs with the more robust component. Fed up ?

Me too. I ain’t EVER going back! Thought I would get a manual Ford Bronco but those are having MAJOR issues. So that killed that.
