OK I know the answer is somewhere in this loooong thread... but maybe a simple Q / A is a better path. I love this widget, yet it recently lost its ability to get data from the FordPass app.

How to get the widget to re-engage? Thanks in advance.

are you using the same login credentials in fordpass as for the widget? if you are, and your fordpass app is working correctly, your account probably isn't locked and you might just need to re-login in the widget app.

if you aren't using the same login credentials you might check if that account is locked by logging in through the web portal. if it isn't locked you may just need to re-login in the widget app.

if your account is locked you'll need to contact ford to have it unlocked.

This likely means that Ford blocked access to the API for your account. This was mentioned a few times throughout the thread. I specifically created a secondary account for using this app, so that if Ford blocks it, then I am not missing out on much. I can just create a new account and proceed as is.

• Increase the size of the refresh icon by 20% (to make it easier to click).
• Separate notifications into different channels to give the user more granular control.

updated to this yesterday. i see there are two notification channels now ? but unfortunately didn't receive a Charging Reminder notification at all last night. all conditions met for the setting (<80% SoC, unplugged).

i also upgraded to android 14 beta 5 earlier in the evening so that could also be involved.

Yeah, that's interesting. There's supposed to be three channels (I'm seeing the same two on my Pixel 7 also) and the missing one is the charge reminder. It works correctly in the emulator...

Found the issue. Watch for the next release.

I love widget by the way. I've done 2 dcfc's in the last two weeks, 1 per week but I only see one report from the first one.

The logging is triggered once the app detects the car is plugged in. Did you manually refresh after plugging in?

No. I'll do that next time. The charge session was probably too short to get a normal update.

Plan to push out this fix Monday, along with live DC fast charging monitoring. ?

You may have noticed you didn't receive a notification that there was a new version. That's because with the changes I made to notifications, I broke the update notification. 2023.08.14 should fix that.

notifications with new channels working great now - thanks!

the real-time DCFC worked well yesterday. am i correct that i still have to refresh soon after the DCFC session started in order to the feature to initiate real-time data? i did and it updated regularly and will be useful.

i do not see a "View DCFC logs" option in the three dot menu though. is that the right place? i don't see it in the settings either though so not sure where else to look. pixel 7/android 14b5.
