Oh and while we’re at it, FordPass 5.0 beta just came out yesterday. Nothing has changed at all to warrant a “5” release, confirms that the dev team doesn’t know what they’re doing when it comes to software updates!
Developers don't usually get to number the releases. That's up to sales/marketing/product development. The developers will just sigh and do it because they're tired of trying to use logic to explain simple things like this.

Does early access have an NDA? Seems like everything else that hits early access is talked about in length here.
No, but each new feature does. I am in EA and sometimes things just show up early. I may not even know they're there.

Other times I'm sent an NDA to sign before a feature is pushed out. Then I participate in subsequent surveys.

Yes, when opting in to each program they are very explicit about not discussing. The program itself is no secret, but items like this are. I don't remember them being that explicit early on but that is probably why they had everyone rejoin last year and acknowledge.
I didn't realize everyone had to rejoin...I thought this whole time I was still in it and just wasn't getting any new features to test. Just signed back up again!

Since there's been a "yes" and a "no", let me clarify. There's no formal NDA for EAP. However there are terms. Per those terms, program features are to remain confidential. Some people are invited to do additional studies, diagnostics or beta testing that might require an actual NDA, but the general EAP program doesn't have such an agreement.

People who violate the terms that they agreed to can/will be removed from the program. There are a few Ford employees on this board who have said they will remove people for violating the terms of the EAP.

True actually, if you’re under an NDA you should NOT be mentioning anything about it. Only Ford can if they choose.

Clearly you don’t understand NDAs as you also should not be mentioning anything about FordPass as I’m sure that’s not supposed to be public either. Making comments and breaching NDAs is how Ford can justify not doing EA programs.

Also, Francesco it is not hard to link you to an EA account from forum posts. Just using your first name, vehicle model, and location can pin point your account And they have every right to terminate your account at any time for any reason.

Based on the video, I wish Charge Assist was something designed to be more integrated with the UI. It comes off as a web browser view within the Sync system and just doesn't seem polished. Functional? Sure. But there really should be a better executed effort from the software side of things.

I am impressed with the integrity of most of the EA participants on this forum. Integrity is an important personal value and honoring EA terms and conditions demonstrates you value integrity.

Im not EA but I’m assuming Charge Assist is a consumer version to what’s offered for Ford Pro customers. In vehicle app to find charge locations and initiate charge sessions.

That might look familiar and it might work pretty well.
