Charge to 100%...Gone!

Hi all - I have just found that my "Charge to 100%" button is no longer appearing in the app.

When I plug the car in outside of scheduled times, I used to be able to click the Details on the "Waiting to Charge" in FordPass and I had the option to initiate charging immediately, outside of the scheduled time.

However now I click Details but this option is simply no longer there.

Especially problematic since my charging according to schedule is ALSO not working (I keep getting "Charge Paused" when I try to charge overnight on my scheduled window).

Really problematic. Would love any suggestions.

What charger do you use? I ask because my issue was my charger, not the car. I had to reset my app to my Juicebox and reconnect it to my wifi for it top stop saying that.

Same here, I have a Juicebox, and since my MME sometimes ignores my scheduled charging times, I also have the schedule in the Juicebox. The app will not offer the Charge to 100% option when the EVSE is not active to charge. Not sure if this is your issue.

One more JuiceBox with a similar problem. Mine was set to smart charging and ignoring what the car wanted. Reset it and no issues since.

This is not the issue I am having. Mine is not set in that way.
In fact, just now I plugged my charger in and the car said "Charge Paused".
I took it out and connected to a different EV - it charged no problem.
Then when I plugged back in to the mach-e it now started again.

My JuiceBox is set to the same hours as the car. Right now, in my peak hours, I would not be able to charge because the JuiceBox will prevent it. My FordPass app clearly shows "Charge to 100" for the Mach-E, which is at 90% (target). It shows it for the Lightning also, but it's not blue, because the truck only got to 88% before peak hours and cut off.

So yes, the app offers it all the time.

Hi.

If your charger is plugged into a "14-50" (example) outlet, try unplugging it and then replug. If you are using the FORD charger check for the yellow light, where there should be a BLUE light. I had same problem, this worked for me. I got this from a former thread here.

Are you using iOS or Android app?

I had my remote start button gray out recently for no reason on Android FordPass and posted elsewhere that the solution was to force stop the app and clear the app's cache. After that the remote start button was available again.

i have had the disappearing Charge to 100% button in the recent past as well. it resolved itself the next day but was frustrating since i needed 100% for a trip the next day. it seemed to be a communication problem between ford and my car since other glitches in fordpass that required communicating with the car were happening as well.

i have a wallbox pulsar plus - not a juicebox - and don't see how the charger would have any impact.

I have had that happen when my Mach E got its location wrong and though I was like a block away charging and not at my home. It was not as far as the car was a conserned a saved locatoin so it had no charging schedule hence why I lost that power.

It is annoying that you can not set a charge limit no matter what the location is.

yes for my situation and it normally does this just fine. the app said "charging at home" and charge target 90% but didn't show the button. i had to go out to the car and turn off Charging Locations to make sure it went to 100%.

reenabling Charging Locations had its own special fun since it now wanted to charge to 100% at home - fixing that just took a change in the home charging settings and a save to get it to get back into shape.

Just last week I had to remove my Ford app because it was not showing charge details when charging. I re-downloaded it, and it works fine. Maybe you should try that?
