I’m looking at the ChargePoint Home Flex plug in (NEMA 14-50) and I can’t find out the length of the actual power cable, not the cable running to the car.

Anyone that owns this unit I would appreciate it if you could let me know the length, from the pictures I’ve seen it looks rather short.
Thanks

Unless the EVSE has a GFCI built into the plug, its cord cannot be more than 12” long. The Chargepoint is one of the few that does.

Ah, makes sense, I currently have a JuiceBox and the cord is about 4 feet long

Not seeing that but 18 inches seems about right from the pictures I’ve seen. Not going to work for me.
Here's what I saw from the manual quickly. As soon as I get a chance I'll measure the cable I have sitting in the box to confirm.

I got the corded Home Flex but hardwired it instead.

Ah, I don't have the 14-50. I have the 6-50, but give or take the measurements match the manual.

You could just buy the hardwired ChargePoint Home Flex and put on your own cable and plug. They are all the same, ChargePoint just includes the cable you want and the amperage is programable. You will also need an industrial 14-50 receptical , and I see there are also industrial plugs available.

I'll put in a plug (pardon the pun) for the Chargepoint flex. I currently have a 2017 era Juicebox in my garage that's been rock solid, but more recently I installed a Chargepoint flex at my mother-in-law's house & liked it so much I installed another outside my garage. I liked that one so much I just yesterday installed another inside my garage - this time with a NACS plug to future proof it - I happen to have a Teslatap adapter anyway so I leave that permanently attached to use with our MME, Bolt EUV and Kia Niro EV. So far it all works great and is a far better solution than using the portable EVSE that came with the MME I had been using before it died after 3 years, and the Chevy branded version of same that was starting to produce ground faults after 9-months of use. The only downside to having multiple Chargepoint flex units at the same location is each requires a different Chargepoint account, and therefore logging out and back in of the Chargepoint app to see each respective charger.

Yes, this is a downside of ChargePoint. It amazes me that after all these years, ChargePoint still has this deterrent to people buying more than one of their products. It’s the reason I went with a Wallbox for my second unit instead of another ChargePoint.
