If you can successfully open the frunk from the touch screen, it's job 2.

If your vehicle is equipped with the hardware needed for BlueCruise and it's available for you to use, you have Job 2.

If your vehicle came from the factory with two key fobs, it's job 2.

The production date is on the driver door sticker. But it's vague. For instance mine says 01/2021 but my vehicle began production in 12/2020.
Assume there are differences for the UK. Bluecruise isn’t available here, all cars came with two keys because PaaK isn’t available, but I also don’t have the frunk button. Will go and check the door jamb now

I sent mine for the pano roof recall and asked for all the updates and TBSs to be done, dealer says it's all done, before I go pick it up can someone check my vin to verify they actually did it? I have a trip coming up and the charging curve improvement would make it so much better

I hate to drudge up an old thread but would some kind individual with FDRS access be willing to run my VIN to see if the 21P22 update was applied while my windshield/roof had new adhesive installed? I have a Job1 vehicle with EA on 2.4.1 and still waiting on BC.

I’ve only charged at home since picking up my car so I can’t verify the updated DC charge curve beyond the 80% shelf.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like you had the service done on 1/19? The did SOBDMB, PCM, SOBDM, ABS and BECM. As of today, you still have quite a few updates, some of which should have been done with 21P22.

Thank you for, potentially, confirming a suspicion of mine.

I will reach back out to Ford customer service because a dealership that I have been having issues with, claimed to do this work already, and billed Ford for the work all the while giving me a hard time about not being able to provide me with a rental or loaner vehicle during the 12 days that they had my vehicle.

Ford Corporate is really going to get burnt by all of these dealership mishaps with EVs if they don’t properly communicate with dealerships/customers. I for one, will give it additional consideration before buying another F.

Sounds like the dealer only did page 1 of the 21P22 instructions (that happened to a friend of mine too but we caught it before they left the dealership). They totally skipped the remaining pages.

The dealer thought that all of the modules updated automatically with the PCM update, but they don't.

Thank you very much for pointing this out. Based on experience with Ford’s instructions to customers, I can see this as a mistake a tech could easily make, reading those instructions. To be honest, I really want to move onto a new dealership and just let my previous bad experience stay in the past. I’m just gonna let that previous shit go and give a new dealership a try as my 10K service is just around the corner. I’ll ask them to perform the same update.

Hey Neil, could you or anyone else run mine as well? Would really appreciate it!!
Got mine "done" last week but I still haven't noticed any charging speed improvement beyond 80%. Starting to think they didn't fully update all the modules!

VIN: 3FMTK3SUXMMA03611

Thanks!

My dealer said I will get the rental for one day and when they saw they needed it for two days (all about their staffing) then it became two days and would have extended without issue.

Well, you win the shady dealer lotto. They entered in 21P22 into FDRS so they could bill it and did NO updates. Below is what is STILL available.

LOL! I knew it! It was too good to be true when they called me in so quickly. Now I'm wondering if I should just wait until the BC in-dealership update or maybe I want these updates done so that I can get BC OTA...

What software version have you received OTA? If you're on any of the 2.XXX updates, then I would think you're fine to get BC OTA. It would all depend if you really want anything in this update or are having issues - Fan noise while level 2 charging, PaaK reliability fixes, door issues (front door not unlocking unless another door is unlocked first), charging curve improvement, GOM accuracy improvements, etc. Doesn't look like you have an APIM or TCU update available, so I'd think you're on at least 2.1.0 with 2.3.0/2.4 being next since you have the GWM update available?

Also, keep in mind it might be harder to come back the longer you wait, if your dealer is a lame-O, to do all the updates. And since they already billed it for your VIN, it will be tough to find another dealer willing to take it over, so to speak.
