Santa, I would like the option to adjust the 1PD brake regen.
Customizable controls so each driver can put what they use more on the screen.

You’re half right there, Teslas are as ugly as hell. I’ve yet to meet a Tesla owner of more than a year hi thinks Tesla gives a damn about anything. And I know more than a couple who will never buy another Tesla.

It’s your money and your car, do what you think is best for you.
Im no altruistic fool, tesla cares about money, not the customer. That being said, when it comes to software and trying to push things forward with the tech in their car they care a lot.

Ford seems to be dragging their feet on a lot of things going on around the Mach-E. The Youtube "app" coming to the car is a perfect example. It looks like half-baked trash. I know it's in beta but golly.

Those I know that currently own or lease Tesla’s tell me they hold their breath every time a OTA is pushed. Their thought is “What did it break this time?” With that said, that process is still ahead of Ford in ease of pushes.

What I was really thinking of though is the friend who had his Model S in the service center for more than 6 months on a 3 year lease. No adjustments, no loaner, no lease extension. Nada.

As for apps, I really couldn’t care less about video streaming of any sort. If I’m never offered video streaming, I won’t mind at all. I’d rather read a book. Others differ.

give me one-tap or smarter automatic access to front and 360 cams when parking.

Front and 360 cams? What are those? ??

Sorry for the delayed response - I do have a life beyond the forum ?

I still have duct tape - DUCT TAPE - covering my alarm interior motion sensors because I cannot deactivate them, even though SYNC says we should be able to deactivate them. PAAK still stinks at waking up the car to unlock the doors. Otherwise, I have no real complaints... just wishes.

In addition to the bug fixes, I wish Ford would...
  1. give me one-tap or smarter automatic access to front and 360 cams when parking. It sure would be fun if the car would automatically recognize I'm in a parking lot and automatically pull up the front and 360 cams when sliding into a spot. That would be AMAZING.
  2. occasionally let me charge past 100% in advance of a road trip (only X times per year, under certain temps, etc.).
  3. make the volume knob multi-function.
  4. reduce SYNC lag.
  5. make BlueCruise more reliable and less prone to disengage on curves.
That's really about it for me. I would be extremely satisfied if I got those things.

@Ford Motor Company
The fix here for Ford is so damn simple I want to strangle something. We all have a button that 99% of us never use, one of the TWO (2!!) physical buttons in the entire infotainment. Guess what that is? It’s for auto park. It escapes me why they didn’t program that button to simply pull up the camera view in the infotainment, instead of being a useless hunk of plastic.

What’s far worse is that, at least on my car, if you press that button you can now no longer activate the cameras manually. This only happens if you press the auto park button.

Try this:
1. Press auto park.
2. Try to pull up cameras from the menu that just came up.
3. Camera view will simply not come up.

Unless Alexa can open the hood/front storage compartment/frunk, why would you invest so much effort in giving us yet another voice assistant/data mining app that no one was asking for over the electronic release that we have ALL been complaining about since day 1?
I seriously don’t understand the way y’all are prioritizing stuff.

also, isn’t it about time to [push all] to all the cars? Having to support 8 different software sets is resource intensive, and we all have the same hardware. Seriously, quit screwing around, and send it all to everyone.

Alexa can answer your questions.
- Alexa, what's that irregular thumping noise?
- That thumping noise is your heart, Joe.
- Whew, I thought it was my transmission.
Or,
- Alexa, I think I'm having a heart attack!
- Ok, calling roadside assistance.

This part also totally baffles me. They’re maintaining so many different combinations of module versions.

Normal software requires that all modules be upgraded in a preset order. I don’t understand why Ford doesn’t do that. It got to be a nightmare and cost a lot to ensure that all the combinations work.

Dear OTA team, maybe you guys completely forgot, but there are also MME's driving around in Europe that did not get ANY ota yet, or maybe 1.7.1. But thats it.

Seeing 3.5.x in the States is kind of frustrating

4. Make the Fan speed a toggle switch like the temperature toggle. Why do I have to bring it up on the screen 1st to change it? That makes no sense.
For the love of all that is holy, THIS! Yes please. If they had reduced the size of the icons they could have squeezed in a fan toggle. It takes too long to adjust the fan (too many taps). How do I know? Because Blue Cruise yells at me to watch the road when I am messing with climate controls.

Hey @FordMotorCompany why do I need a volume toggle on the steering wheel when there is a big ass physical volume knob a blind person could find on my huge display? Why not put fan or temperature adjustment there instead. Just a thought.

And YouTube is now their priority? Are you effing kidding me? The sort of things owners are asking for in this thread a common sense, reasonable request for basic, daily usability.

They are not asking for the car to turn into a submarine (and here we go.....)

Well, until the screen can be rotated 90 degrees I am not interested either.

I think a good way to do it would be to combine those controls to the wheel so that at first you press one category you want to adjust and then just spin the wheel to do the adjustment.

And on the topic of hackers using f150 remotes to access the frunk, we here on the old continent have that button on the remote, it just doesn’t do anything(and this is 2 years after the launch…)
