My home modem router is setup to allow access by MAC addresses. The only MAC address from the car that I am allowing is the one associated with SYNC.

Am I limiting and affecting the car’s connection to my home network?

I have not noticed any problems, but I just got my car. Well, maybe there is one problem … cannot get charging times and limits to always work. It is a daily guess as to what will happen.

The cars seem to do updates just fine from cellular, but I'd turn on all the car MAC addresses (3 of them as i recall) on my router.

Charge times and limits are by location... you may want to clear and re-create your home location if your GPS shows the car not quite home when you park.

I see three MAC address under the About menu.

Two show under the SYNC update. I thought I read that the car has two modems, one for the WiFi connction and the other for the cellular. So, I have added both of those, but don't believe I need the cellular one.

The third MAC address was under bluetooth, which i didn't add.

FDRS updates don't seem to follow the normal EA/non-EA release.

I got it today.

First OTA I have received since 3.5.2.

Normally they show up in FDRS, I buy a license, and apply them myself long before an OTA gets offered up. Sounds like the APIM update just appeared today in FDRS and I got the OTA the same day.

At least my manual now works.

Still waiting for that OTA that will add an extended battery pack under the back seats and also, and more realistic, the goddamn frunk button next to the trunk button for heavens sake already. Job 1 early adapter struggles

Do you actually notice anything different? I'm sure this is just to get everyone on the same version, but it would be nice if they fixed the color of the icons on the top lol.

How about the windows 98 style icons on the main apps page..

Thanks, I do have it set for Auto update but can not connect to WiFi in my garage, So i guess it will come over Cellular at some point.

pick it up certified with 4K on it. Love it so far!

My wifi stopped connecting in my garage. It's annoying as heck. Plus for some reason, trip planner on FP won't connect with my car. It just grinds and grinds and grinds.

Just my opinion, but both of those requests have about the same likelihood of happening. At the two year point, if it’s not fixed or delivered, it’s not happening.

I applied the interim updates myself using FDRS.

But somewhere around 4.1 something disappeared.

I can't find the screen button to open the trunk ?.
Feeling really stupid, both frunk and trunk seem hidden, i can'tfind it. Also the owner manual is now unavailable for my model.

Someone please send me a screen shot of the completely hidden button please ?
