FordPass 4.31 now available

Are you connected via Bluetooth? Mine works when the phone is close enough to connect via BT, but if I turn off BT, or I am out of range, the buttons are unresponsive.

By unresponsive, you mean the vehicle just won't respond and everything times out? Or that the buttons aren't enabled at all?

The buttons don't respond. It is like they are dead images. When I touch them, nothing happens.

After installing this version on my Android 12 phone, the fp app does not start up anymore. Anyone else having this problem?
(I did clear the cache already)

My problem is also resolved with 4.31.1. Finally I can remote start my car again! Yes!

If you have an Android phone:
Open Play Store
Tap icon top right corner
Tap settings
Tap Network Preferences
Tap Auto-update apps
Tap Don't auto-update apps
Tap OK

If you only want to disable updates for FordPass do this.
Long press on the FordPass icon.
Then tap the small i in the circle.
Then go to the bottom of the page and tap on App details in store.
Then tap on the three dots in the top right corner.
Then tap on Enable auto updates to enable or disable auto updates.
If you only want to disable auto updates for one or a few apps don't disable updates for all apps.

There's no way to do that for individual apps. Stopping auto updates does it for all apps. I've learned to wait on the Ford app updates for good reason but would like to keep auto updating my other apps.

4.31.1 broke PaaK for me. I have to have the app actively open for it to work now. Up until yesterday when that app updated I have not had any issues. Now I have to unlock my phone, open the app and sometimes turn bluetooth off and then back on for it to connect. I have a Pixel Fold running Android 14.

I can remote start but departure times are definitely not working. I'll have to check things from inside the car I guess. Oh and it also seems that I now have to unlock my phone for PaaK to work.

Missing frunk, windows and hatch buttons on the Ford Pass home screen as well. This app continues to be a mess. Model E really needs its own app purpose built for BEVs from the ground up.

Android or iPhone? I have a Pixel and 4.31 works great none of those issues. Saturday I sent a new departure schedule to my car while in canada, all worked perfect.

Samsung S23. I tried resetting my departure times from within the car. We'll see what happens.
