Use the FordWidgetTool > Reset > select instance to wipe all saved logins and configs
Done that more times than I can count.

There are people having trouble with Fordpass and logging in on this thread Link. Have no idea if they are related as both mine are working but something changed with log in. The script was down for a bit if you read back because they changed it.

I believe every time (since I started watching the log) I get the same ending lines/errors:

Code:
2022-07-13 07:35:00: makeFordRequest Error: JSON Parse error: Unexpected identifier "Error"
2022-07-13 07:35:00: makeFordRequest(getVehicleStatus) Error: SyntaxError: JSON Parse error: Unexpected identifier "Error"

I do wonder if it’s my FordPass because part of the log looks like it can’t find/retrieve my vehicle info.
I’ve tried my main account, made a new secure account, and tried my wife’s account (which first attempt, she received an account locked email from to many attempts, I have yet to get one).

I’ve read through all 23 pages of this thread looking for answers. Can you give me a gist of what’s going on in the thread you linked?

Read a bit of the other thread (4.17.1?) the post that I directly linked to says something about conflicting login id's or something. I can not try as both work here.

For what it's worth I have tried this on my wife's phone with her account and still get the same type of errors. Nothing ever happens.

@tonesto7
I have now completely removed all connections to Ford, all apps, and master reset my sync system deleting all prior connections.

I continue to get the same errors:
Code:
2022-07-12 19:04:54: makeFordRequest Error: JSON Parse error: Unexpected identifier "Error"
2022-07-12 19:04:54: makeFordRequest(getVehicleStatus) Error: SyntaxError: JSON Parse error: Unexpected identifier "Error"

Updated to the latest iOS and the widget still works fine on my iPhone but now it doesn’t load at all on the iPad. The dashboard works fine but I just get the default Scriptable widget. Any ideas about this? Thanks.

That is why we have windows is for you to multi task ;). just pulling your leg thanks for your work. Don't even own an ipad but do like the 12V display on your app. It has been helpful since if it says 13V the 12V charger is good no need to go out in the cold to check it. Enjoy the weekend .... summertime. ?

Are you getting any specific errors when the widget won’t load? I keep getting the same JSON errors on any device/account I try.

Hmm... Still not working for me and when I try to use the latest version I get an email that says:

IBM Security Verify
Your account on tenant sso.ci.ford.com was locked at 2022-07-04T13:50:17Z because of too many failed password attempts.
Contact your system administrator to reset your password.

I got the first of these emails around 1 am when I wasn't using the widget (or, you know, awake!).

So, just FYI that this MAY have broken my PAAK and connected services. I had been out of town for awhile and probably had my fob on me most of the time otherwise, so I didn't realize and deal with it until today. I called the FordPass Guides Team (800-883-2966, if anyone ever needs that) and they said my account had been fully severed. They of course had no clue what I was talking about with the email but were able to reset everything and get me connected again.

For the hell of it, I (probably stupidly) tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling the script and instance again. Same email. Thus far PAAK appears to still be working but we shall see.

Sucks because this was how I was staying on top of my OTA install and dealer install issues. Guess I'll have to figure out how people read the tea leaves via the webpage.

That’s interesting. My wife gets the email ever time (I never do). Her FordPass and to her knowledge PaaK still works (still shows connected but mostly uses her fob). Guess I’ll need to test that on her’s.

I’ve never got the widget to work and none seems to know how to fix the errors I’m getting. Let me know if you figure out the tea leaves.

Sorry to hear it. It's awesome, when it works!

But to use the web inspector method, see the first post in this thread.

Looks like nothing has happened on mine since a 2.8.2 OTA failure back on May 19. I since had the BC update installed, so I'm not sure that there should be anything else, other than this recall update of course. Nada on that front.
