He's been pretty silent but last he mentioned, he was working on making his own iOS app, I think, so he doesn't have to deal with Scriptable anymore. Hopefully that's going well and will also have a lock screen widget!
Sorry I’ve been Mia.
I haven’t been working on much lately
I’m so pissed at ford for locking all this shit down in the name of security.
they just don’t want us to have any info about our own damn vehicle

FP will continue to work, even with a disabled account, as long as you stay logged in. Once you log out and try to log in again, you will find out (or at least that's what happened to me). I'm just saying that depending on how the iOS widget works, this could be the cause.
This is true until the auth token expires, which I believe is 60 days. So, if someone is locked out of their Ford account they shouldn't rely on PaaK because those 60 days could be up tomorrow or in 59 more days, you just don't know. Carry you fob if you are locked out.

Your 12V status saved me a lot of in and out last winter to check the 12V charger. If the script said 13V I was good. 12V discharge while sitting plugged into 240V in the cold started again for the second winter early December 2021 and they replaced the HVJB and BECM mid-April 2022. Not sure it is fixed and it would be nice to have this script working come again this winter. A mini 12V status would work. ;) Appreciate what you have done already; you have helped enough.

When peoples paak and passcodes started getting wiped taken a fob became a no brainer. Due to the AI in this vehicle pocketing a fob persists. Started the refund a month ago but have still yet to get reimbursed for the second that was required at the beginning.

That would explain why I was getting the account locked emails while trying to use this script, without any obvious ramifications until much later (PaaK not working anymore). So I must be on a countdown again until I have to call Ford. Ugh. Guess I'm done trying to get this script to work. It was great while it lasted!

Will the vehicle password still work? The door PIN should still work since that’s based on a 30+ year old system that’s entirely in-vehicle based. I’m not sure if the vehicle “phones home” every time to validate the password though?

I would assume it would still work, but when I tested the auth token I didn't think of testing the backup password. The door code I can guarantee would work as it's stored locally in the car and doesn't require FordPass, but the start code is something I wouldn't want to speak on unless I knew for sure.

Same. I think Ford is just blocking off access and the 16.1 update may have caused the widget to lose its auth token. I've finally had to resign myself to delete it off my screen. Fingers crossed @tonesto7 can get an approved app out or Ford relinquishes their death reign. Such a bummer you can get so many apps for Tesla but Ford just won't let go of their strangle hold.

I’ve done the same, just removed it from my iPad until something more stable and possibly endorsed by Ford comes along.

I don’t think it’s Ford. None of the other scripts run with Scriptable.

So I got a new phone set up and when I put my Ford login info when the script asks for it, it says it can’t find any vehicles and to put in the VIN. So I put in my VIN and some of the data is there but I get “Bad credentials” from the Ford servers when trying to fetch OTA status. So seems like it’s not actually able to login to get that data?

Same problem, but it happened before I changed to the new iPhone. Continued after I changed to the new iPhone too. Sadly, the OTA update page is like the only thing I really use it for.

So is the consensus that Ford is restricting access to this data now?

Yes, Ford changed the API for the OTA info. @tonesto7 had an idea how to access it again but I don't think he's had time to look into it more.

Scriptable is being reworked for iOS&iPadOS 16. Check other scripts and they don’t work either.
