I have determined that this image displays the HVSOC and not the LV SOC Might I have a different version of Ford.com Dashboard?

Are you sure? Does the % match the FordPass app?

Still 12V reading for me.

I just deleted my last message. After updating my ford.com website, it no longer matched my fordpass app. You are correct it does display LV soc. My bad and my apologies.

Out of curiosity, do AGM batteries ship fully charged? I guess if one ever replaces the LV battery they need to ensure this and also reset the BMS on the car.

What if someone replaces the LV with an AGM that is not 100%, or the forget to reset the BMS? Will the BMS eventually figure out the correct state of charge after severl cycles of using and charging?

AGMs ship from the factory charged, but they can sometimes sit for months in the warehouse and lose some charge. It’s always a good idea to fully charge a new battery before installation.

In regards to the second question, no I don’t think the SoC will fully adjust if the BMS is not reset properly. It should always be reset at battery replacement.

LV is sitting at 80% and it still keeps rescheduling due to "another process". Going to try again tonight. Only step I haven't done is turning the lights off before I exit the car. I will try that.

Make sure you unplug all USB devices and follow all the steps. The steps are there for a reason.

Yup I don't have any USB devices plugged in currently. Hopefully it takes, if not I will charge to 100 tonight and hope it installs.

Wow! This worked!
Left plugged in at 110v all day, and no longer stuck! Thanks!

That's fully misleading. I assumed that was HV battery also. I wonder how many questions Ford support has answered when laypeople ask why this number doesn't match charge level in Ford's app.

To their credit, how could the UI be clearer here? "Low Voltage battery charge"? Laypeople have no idea there are 2 separate batteries in the car. Plus, that's a lot of text to put in that small box on the website.

Technology is hard.

My assumption is that they were supposed to display estimated miles to empty, just like they do on the vehicle dashboard page. In other words, enjoy this defect until it's corrected!

Yeah, it's sort of a happy accident right now with all the OTAs going out until they eventually fix it (probably after the Holidays). For the first time, people are able to monitor their 12V status without special tools and use that information to intelligently charge their battery up enough to get OTAs to install. The theme I'm seeing is a lot of people had no idea how low their 12V battery actually was and how long it takes to charge up. Stuff I've been saying forever, but people finally get to see it for themselves.

We are pushing to have 12V SoC % permanently added somewhere like in FordPass.
