Mach Drop Build Updates

Let’s hope that when they schedule more this Thursday (sounds like that’s when they donut), that all the FE’s get a build date. My dealer said a couple weeks ago that it looked like my machdrop FE would be about 2 weeks behind when my premium would’ve been built, just from eyeballing dates in the order system (not reservation dates). He said that was a total guess based on his experience and granted this is all new to him.

Out of curiosity, what was your Premium reservation# (or reservation date)?

I assume it would be too late to "downgrade" back to a Premium once a build date is set in the order. If mine shows up Thursday with a Dec 22 build date or something (with no chance of 2020 delivery), not sure what I'll do. $3600 extra for that is just throwing money away, especially if many Premiums are built sooner.

I wouldn't assume that if your Premium order wasn't canceled.

Mine was. What I actually meant was changing the FE order to a Premium.

Yes, for those that still have their original Premium order still in place, that should be a viable option. Be very curious to see what build dates on those will be. If they're close (like just a month or two apart), I expect many that still have both orders open to just cancel the FE and save $3600.

I may have gotten screwed by also being selected from the Machdrop waitlist (for what amounted to a 2nd FE), and having my Premium order automatically cancelled. Although my res# was 29xxx, so hopefully those won't get built until March or something. I'll feel a tad less bad about it all if I at least get 2 extra months for my $3600. Still not worth it, but at least it's something. (It's actually the $1500 state tax credit for 2020 delivery I need to make it worthwhile though.)

IF your old prem order is gone then yes it will take longer.

Just got my FE build date, 12/21, reserved it on 11/19/19 with number ending 4734, In Oregon, one of few orders here so guess I will see it in February?

I don't know, based on the build dates and order dates I feel like if you ordered today you'd probably end up with the earliest build date of everyone!
