Mach-E goes rogue on highway

Do you not question how and why this was video?

If you’re suggesting this was pre-planned to video that would surprise me.

They’re on the opposite sides of what looks to be a major highway and an on-ramp. Just trying to time that to be there to video would be…..difficult.

My guess is this guy was slammed and driving agains the wall, the guy driving and taking the video just pulled out his phone (like we all do when we see something insane).

Not sure how he was honking, driving and taking the video all at the same time though. Could be other people honking.

I can drive and honk with one hand - never tried doing that while videoing with the other, though...

The individual in the red Mitsubishi Mirage had to be extricated and was taken away in an ambulance, minor injuries reported.

Not that it makes any difference but this person was driving southbound on HWY 101 in San Carlos, CA. San Carlos airport control tower is in the background. My parents live in that city and I visited them yesterday and take that Holly Street exit but thank God I was not around when all this happened.

I just came across this post on Reddit and it's absolutely terrifying!



The following recalls were listed in one of the comments — https://www.nhtsa.gov/?nhtsaId=24V777000 and https://www.nhtsa.gov/?nhtsaId=25V513000, but neither seem to apply to 2024/2025 models, which I believe is the model year of the car in the video going off of the color.

Has anyone else observed this happening before to a Mach-E?

The video wouldn’t play for me but I’ve driven that stretch of 101 a lot. Like @markboris I am glad I was not on that stretch of road at that time.
