Looks like one of those drivers who, instead of turning off the
even if locked i can't imagine why the guy wouldn't be trying pull, honking, stepping on brakes, calling police, rolling down window shouting, spinning the shifter, etc. all would be natural instincts in this situation vs whatever he's doing
Do you remember that one time a Toyota was accelerating on its own and the driver, in all his infinite wisdom, called and cried to 911 instead of just turning the vehicle off?

it’s scary knowing there are more than one person on the road who has no sense of self-preservation.

look at what happens to his hands at 0:25 until 0:27, something very strange going on, almost looks like AI?

the rest of the video doesn't look fake though so not sure

i have no idea how to create a mini clip otherwise i'd loop it and show y'all...

Yeah I was just about to ask "is he PRAYING ??? "
Sticker on front windshield ....is that a rental ??
If I had to guess, that is a newly purchased car and the window sticker is from DGDG (Dell Grand Dealer Group) which holds the temporary registration of the car that is required here in CA until you get your registration from the DMV.

the only strange thing going on with his hands is that they’re praying and not trying to control the vehicle at all.

The individual in the red Mitsubishi Mirage had to be extricated and was taken away in an ambulance, minor injuries reported.
Where did you see a report on that? Was there any explanation of what happened?

This video also brings home the point that we're rapidly heading into a world where it's feasible for someone to deepfake a viral video like this, so they can make money on their TikTok or YouTube channels. I don't necessarily think that's the case here, especially since Mach-Lee had more information... But it's a scary world coming, where we won't know what's real and what isn't on social media.

thanks for not looking but commenting anyway

it's hard to describe other than to say it looks like AI. he lowers his hands and it transforms into another steering wheel or something. even if the "steering wheel" is just a reflection, the motion itiself is very strange and unnatural.

here are 3 screenshots showing the movement, but it's hard to capture why the motion is so weird via stills

I don’t know- my gut feeling while watching this is that he is suffering from some sort of medical emergency or mental health breakdown, and perhaps hit something BEFORE the video starts which could cause his Mach-E to be pulling hard to the right? Obviously he could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but something just doesn’t look right. Glad to hear that the driver of the red Mirage was ok- someone could have been killed.

…as others have said, we are entering a world where this COULD be AI or digitally manipulated, so who knows?

I saw the same thing at first watch . Weird ....ALL of it.
Also weird that the other drivers aren't getting as far away as possible from him . I understand California highway driving but that car could've veered left at any second and shot across all those lanes

Emergency flashers are on, indicating either a planned stunt for Tic Tok clicks or a car in distress with an idiot driver. Or maybe both.

I watched it several times before replying I just don’t need my hand held to know I’m not looking at AI. He puts his hands back down towards the steering wheel fingers angled down, sunlight hits them. They don’t transform into a second steering wheel. Lucky for you I do know how to make short video clips.

So that middle pic above. How does one point hands backwards at themself? I caught a glimpse of that the first time and keep going back to that.

My assumption is, dealer told him it has autopilot. New buyer bought it and thought so. Car hits something, new owner thinks they are hammering the brake and praying the thing will stop when, like in China, some one with a model Y plowed down many streets hammering the accelerator and praying it 'd stop.
