It is so good to finally see the Polestar 3 without the “camo” wrap. We had been seeing them for awhile and it took a few times to figure out what brand it was. Looks about the way I thought it would.

Mach-E wins this round hands down imo. Cheaper, more cargo space, similar performance, better interior.

Polestar 3 Specs (released today)
- 193 inches long, 64 inches high, 83.5 inches wide
- 17.1 cubic feet cargo space behind rear seats + 1.1 cubic foot frunk
- 0-60 in 4.9 seconds
- 250kW charging, 400V architecture, ~ 300 mile range
- 111 kwH battery
- Price: $85.3k

Hate the complete lack of physical buttons in the Polestar 3's interior

Get a GT PE... Polestar is too new of manufacturer to roll the dice on... Ford will stand behind their cars... Ford will cover the battery for 8 years and 100,000 miles... and I can't drink the Tesla Kool-Aid... too many issues with parts distribution and servicing.

Kyle Connor/Out of Spec Reviews looks at the new Polestar 3! Looks quite premium from the video. Shorter than I was expecting- not sure how tall Kyle is but the roofline only goes up to his chest.

$83.9k on the base version, ~ $88k for the Performance Pack, will be built in Charleston, SC. More expensive than a fully loaded Volvo EX90!

Is it not still a Chinese company?

Wow, looks really interesting in video. Something interesting to look at everywhere. That price misses the mark IMO though.

Haha, yeah no kidding. I wonder how many of these they'll sell at $80k+?

Production coming Q1 2024. Starting price will be $85,300 (including destination).

Are they kidding? $85k starting price is insane and out of touch. Curious how many they will sell before a price cut is implemented. On the other hand, I guess they're really positioning Polestar as a high end niche brand commanding the price premium.

Maybe they’re trying to go the way of Saab?

I don't think SAABs ever commanded that kind of a price premium. They were definitely niche though.

I was more referring to the “going out of business” part.

Does Polestar sell better outside the US to keep them going? I just don’t see it making it here.
