I'm fine with the I-Pace range. I'll charge at home, and we've still got a diesel BMW wagon and a F150 if we need to leave town.
But for me it is primary car and that 234 would just be more work than I want to put up with and too expensive really. Paying a $20k premium for status car. Be fun but can't do it.

Need more range, lower price. Mach-E's still a stretch at $58k.

I also couldn't resist those deals and picked up my I-PACE yesterday. The car was about $23k off comparing to 2020 model. I had to drive it back from Atlanta, so already spent some time in it. Well, it's a really nice place to be in :) The interior is absolutely gorgeous.

Sweet. Congratulations. There was a 2019 at one of the Atlanta dealers? How did I miss that? I thought I only saw 2020 models online. You're lucky I didn't see it first.

Congrats! That's a beautiful looking car. I think you're going to enjoy it for a long time.

Gorgeous color. In our area dealers don't seem to have it. Best of luck with it. It's a blast to drive!

It was a demo car. Never titled, 2019 model, had 231 miles on odometer.
Wow. That's really low miles for a demo.

As of a couple days ago there was still a new 2019 HSE at the Columbia, SC dealer if anyone is interested. MSRP is over $89k, but their website has it listed for $76k which seems a little high given what others are paying. I talked to one of their salespeople on Thursday, and they talked like they would come down off that price, but they seemed reluctant to give me a price over the phone right away. I was supposed to talk to them again on Friday, but my test drive on Thursday evening turned into a purchase.

Well after a lot of discussion and research, I ended up following @Ken7 into the Jaguar dealership and picked up an I-Pace today. The deal was just so good and it brought the price down right in line with the Mach E GT I had a reservation for. I will miss the anticipation of that Mach E GT, but I'm already loving the handling, ride, acceleration, comfort, and quiet of this I-Pace. She is a beauty.

Good luck to all on this forum. I will be following along with you waiting for the Mach E to hit the dealerships, although maybe not quite as studiously as I have been. I can't wait to see Ford put that great car out into the market.

As far as I know, there is no towing option for the I-Pace. There is a way to connect a bike rack or something similar to the back bumper, but no tow hitch.

You may want to check with third party vendors as they may have a hitch that fits., I need this type of option to make my vehicle multi-purpose.

I have a reservation for a Mach E FE. After reading the electrek.co article on the I-Pace discounts however, curiosity and boredom overtook us as my wife normally works in Manhattan and has been working from home since mid-March. So we made an appointment for this past Thursday and took the hour and a half ride to the Jaguar dealer near us that was offering the discounts to check it out. Well for less than what my First Edition MSRPs for we bought a 2019 I-Pace SE that said $81,681 on the Monroney sticker. They delivered it to us on Friday. It's gorgeous, hi tech, fast and everything I hope the MME will be. We have two PHEVs already, a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and a 2020 Kia Niro and my wife announced that the Kia will now go to my daughter as soon as the DMV here opens back up and she can take her road test. I still plan on keeping my reservation for my MME but I will be looking into changing it to a GT with performance package because there is no way my ego can handle my wife having the fastest car in the household for too long.

Bogey, that looks exactly like mine. Welcome to what seems to be the rapidly grow I-Pace owners club that was originally in the Mach-E camp. You'll love the car and at the price they're now offering it, it's a no-brainer IMO. :)

The first real range test I tried, I was getting about 250 miles.

Keep the reports coming. Owner first hand experience is interesting and important for our overall knowledge.
