NACS adapter coming when?

Hoping that apps listing chargers will be more specific by the time adapters are available. Right now PlugShare lists Tesla (supercharger), but not which version.

You can find V3 SCs by adding a kW filter for chargers over 200kW. The V3 (and V4) SuperChargers are 250kW and above.

What I had read is that Ford users will be able to use V3.0 and higher.

I read the same, but not having been a Tesla owner, the V2, V3, V4 is meaningless to me.
I guess the thing for people to understand is that there are Tesla Superchargers out there that will not be made available to a CCS adapter vehicle.

The Tesla app already does a good job of only showing magic dock locations to me today. I imagine this will be consistent going forward, where it will only show me locations that will accept a customer-supplied CCS adapter (aka personal magic dock -- once such a device exists)

Or use the Tesla map. Each station says "up to 150" (presumably V2) or "up to 250" (presumably V3).

Unfortunately, many of the key road trip stations between cities are V2's. Like Green River UT.

Rivian has officially stated that the adapter will be free. Hopefully what Farley seemed to imply in it being free will be true.

I am sure we will all be getting a free one. Once Ford replaces all under design HVJB in peoples cars and @Jimrpa gets his frunk button. Definitively on the list.

An adapter that would work for L2 and DCFC would be good. Hoping not too much of a hit to purchase one.

Not all are really really special like some. We are still waiting for that frunk button but good to know that this will be shortly behind it.

Not sure about both the Tesla magic docks and an adapter as that sounds a bit redundant? Will tesla let you charge a non-tesla at non-magic dock super chargers with an adapter? ?‍ If so why the magic docks at all? Just open them all and you need an adapter. If Tesla only allows charging at the magic docks (musked up) than the adapter is a bit useless since you use theirs. Not sure I see the logic in both to date.
