I just finished doing this update myself and I am on the last step per the direction to go into the Toolbox tab, and perform 2 hard resets from FDRS main menu. I am not seeing this option anyplace..? Anyone have any tips on where this hard reset option is?

Do you have the updated directions? The function is under APIM. The newer directions tell you exactly where to find the function in FDRS.

So I brought the car in for 21B36, 21C22, 21P22, & 21G01, now when I charge the red lights come on and service car now shows up when I try to start it. Waiting for a call back from the dealer, guess my 1+ year of no trouble has ended. When they replaced the window they messed up the wipers too.
The wipers have seemed to fix themselves. The car has now been in for at least 3 days a week for the last 3 weeks. The dealer fixed the charging issue, but lane center failed and of course without it so did the blue cruise update. The dealer has pulled off all updates and re-installed them 4 times so far. At least I can drive the car on the weekend. They are waiting to hear back from Ford.

My lane centering was failed as well, for over three weeks. I took it back to the dealer on Tuesday for the SSM50824 fix. Ford sent out a field engineer as well, and they got it working in 3 hours, the issue was a bit more than just that SSM. Hopefully Ford can help your dealer as well.

The Blue Cruise works really well, now that I can actually engage it.

My MME is at my dealer for the module updates, which were not done before they sold me the vehicle. I provided them with hard copies of both pdfs from the first page of this thread.

I just got a text saying the work is done, but the photos show SYNC was not updated because it's still on Revision 316 and the FDRS "FD1 - CMR" and "MS1 - DSM" labels are orange ("CMDTCs detected"). I asked why SYNC wasn't updated, and the dealer said they are sending a message to the help desk to see what they say.

Is there any other info I can provide to the dealer to help with this programming? Or am I just stuck waiting for OTA updates?

Dealership says they installed 21G01.
Paperwork doesn’t list all the modules updated but it does show the GWM twice.
car doesn’t have the hands free radio button in settings.
Connected Services just says “coming soon”.
Car doesn’t go to hands free on a known BlueCruise highway.
ar does tell me to watch the road if I cover the eye sensors.
Seems to me BlueCruise is half installed and still non-functional.
Any advice or stories from others here?

PS. Warning tones when backing up close
To something in the garage now sound like an Atari 2600.

Hi, I left my car at the dealership for two weeks. During that time, they were supposed to fix windshield recall that they had a problem with the first time as well as fix update issue and install Blue cruise. I went to pick up the car yesterday and to my surprise (just kidding) the update issue is not fixed, and I have no Blue cruise. I have had the car for a little more than a year and have had the car at the dealership for a month already. This is crazy

There would be no reason since you already have it. 21G01 is to install BlueCruise.

There would be no reason since you already have it. 21G01 is to install BlueCruise.

Rick is right....and if you're still seeing that 21G01 program in your ETIS lookup or somewhere else you can ignore that. I have that too. Along with the 22B08 (I think that's it). But it just indicates that you are eligible for these programs whether you need them or not. Just in case.

My saga continues. I brought the car to another dealership because obviously the first dealership had no idea what they were doing. The person at the new dealership told me they hope to be able to fix the car in a week but I should not count on it. Then he tells me that installing blue cruise is not something they will do for me. I showed him my letter but he could care less. So I spoke to the his supervisor. He said that they should be able to do this. He said if they could not do it, it's obviously a Ford problem. I kinda agree with that. I hope that they will be able to do this but I'm not holding my breath.

You need to get Ford involved. Open a ticket with them and then hammer Ford on their Twitter and other Social Media networks. Once you get their attention, things do happen. I made sure to use the handles of Jim Farley and other Mach-e and EV Ford accounts.
