This afternoon I took a further look into my settings and it appears that the only settings that I "lost" were 1-P on/off (turned it off) and the motion sensor setting (its now asking me again to turn them on/off when I turn off the car).

The departure settings and the charge settings remained set to what I had prior to my zillion attempts at 2.4.2.

They did that a while ago.
Not on my car. Yesterday, on my way to work, it was Engage, Whisper, Unbridled. I did the update while I was at work, the. It was Whisper, Engage, Unbridled. I know this for certain because I flip drive modes during my commute. I use Engage on surface streets, and Whisper on the expressways.

Had you already gotten 2.3.0? If I remember correctly, the order changed with that update for me. I haven‘t gotten 2.4.1 or 2.4.2 yet.

Ya know, I have had several updates, but since Ford doesn’t give us a way to see what updates have been done, or when they were done, I couldn’t say with any certainty.

Meanwhile 2.4.1 is still ea only?

Makes me wonder if they're going to keep all of these updates out of the pubic release until ea people get bc, and then they'll just dump them all at once to public release?
They seemed to have paused the roll out on that one, maybe it started back up last week? I wonder if we’ll see that opened up to the rest of us on Monday.

With updates now going out for the power train and other critical functions to driving is anyone else considering switching to backing their car into their driveway or garage?

The line in the early access email that concerned me was “In the rare case that a critical system software configuration is not correct after the update has occurred, out of an abundance of caution, we will not let the vehicle operate.”

Maybe I’m just paranoid, but if an update fails and the car is un-drivable, how would a tow company pull it out of your garage when the only tow points are in the front.

On Thursday, backing out of my garage, I got that No Reverse Brake Assist message you guys mentioned, but it went away after I drove away and didn't come back. After reading this string I just looked to see if any update was done, but all it tells me is that I'm up to date. Never got any message from Ford about an update. Strange.

They said they'll do what it takes to make it right, so I fully expect Ford to buy me a new house while they tear down the garage/house to get the car out of there ??

Did you read the next part of the email? You won't be towed, you will have support come to your house to get you fixed

Fair point, but I assume that’s only for EA members. Unless they are going to provide that level of service for the general public.

This update is only going out to EA people currently. It's only going to move to general release if there is enough confidence. Obviously things can still happen

Ya I was thinking when it gets released to us Plebeians who aren’t in EA. Will we still get the home service. I know I’m jumping ahead a few weeks.

I think Ford was poking my car via wifi last night. Been stuck on 1.7.1 since Oct, with updates grayed out. My car has never displayed any warnings or any of the weird stuff mentioned in the forum. It's been perfect for a year except for the update issues. Today I got the dreaded bat low warning. Then I started to back out of the garage and got the backup assist warning. Shut the car off and waited couple minutes and restarted, everything was fine, no warnings and the car was fine. However radio presets reset it appears to what we set the day we picked up the car. Some other profile items were different. Appears I'm still stuck on 1.7.1, update still grayed out. I think I feel a little violated, lol.
