Probably do. The reality is I have used cruise control maybe 3 times in 50 years of driving. Chose the hard top GT as I knew I would never go with hands free driving.

What is an Egg McMuffin? Must be something else I am missing out on!
It may have improved since I last looked but there was only about 10 miles of road that was BC enabled here in AK. Just joking on the MCMuffin - only thing I purchase there anymore.

Just took delivery of a 2023 GT a little over a month ago. Coming from the Tesla world, where it's easy to see where one stands in terms of software version, the whole PowerUp thing seems chaotic and non-linear.

Is there a way to see which BC version one is on?

It'll be based on features
BC 1.0 - Hands Free Lane centering only
BC 1.2 - Adds lane changes and moving over in the lane for large trucks
BC 1.3 - Slows down a bit for aggressive corners, rather than asking for hands on around said corners

It is. Mainly because the car is made up of dozens of modules, most of which Ford does not make, or make the software for. So there will never be a unified software version in its current incarnation. Future cars may have an in house system built from the group up like Tesla did. This not to say it will be better or more reliable.

I’ve seriously considered buying a new travel coffee mug because the flip-lid of mine sticks up and I get yelled at to watch the road ?

The McD’s coffee works well because it’s so frickin’ hot, you can’t really tip it up very far, for like an hour.
