V1.2.1 Release

• Refactored the entire authentication mechanism to get the newer token required for advanced commands and API data calls.
• Added support for advanced commands like SecuriAlert, and likely any future commands.
• Fixes for passwords with special characters (hopefully)
• Updated menu navigation labels and menus so that you can go back to previous menus instead of exiting each time.
• Added a debug menu under the widget settings menu. It will allow you to save all vehicle data to your device clipboard for easy sharing with me or others.
• Added an OTA API page under the debug menu as well. (it's just the output in JSON)
• Added a Vehicle Data page under the debug menu as well.
• Fixed the way that door status is captured, hopefully this fixes errors and will accommodate 2-door vehicles better.
• Lots of other little fixes.

It's in the menu > Widget Settings > Debug Menu > OTA Info

So I walked away from my car this morning and I did not hear the "honk" indicating the car is locked and there was no message on my phone from FordPass saying PaaK locked it. But was it really? The car is in a parking garage and certainly I want it locked, so after I took the elevator upstairs, I came back down to check. It was NOT locked. Of course PaaK failed again. I locked it using the door button and closed the door.

So absolutely we can walk away and think it is locked when it is not. Not good at all.

I usually turn around to see the mirrors fold in, if they do i know its locked. But i always get the foord pass alert that it is. (I turned off all audible sounds for locking)

If you don’t hear the honk you can pretty much be sure it’s not locked. It’s happened to me about 5 times in two months, I believe it’s when you exit while the car displays “no key found”-but not every time.
this widget is great for making sure it’s not a single door problem. The fact that fordpass doesn’t display all the info it has access to is mind boggling.

I'm on Android for phone but have an iPad. The widget works fine but is TINY. Is there somewhere on the script that I can adjust the widget size? I'm not a programmer but know enough to be dangerous...

Perhaps is because you are in England, tonesto is working in a version that detects your country, mainly it is a problem with car images url, the version supporting multi country now in beta 1.2.3:

I had the same issue at first. It must just take a little while for it to show up.

I had the same issue at first. It must just take a little while for it to show up.

Yes, just had to wait. I added it now but the widget is blank with an error saying "Alerts are not supported in a widget"
I am using a beta, version 1.2.3 (I live in The Netherlands.. MAX country for the F1 fans out there)

Copied the last code, put my credentials and vin in it and got the error
"Error on line 984:33 Expected value of type image but got value of type undefined."

I think 984 is the line and 33 the first character.
But in vs code the line is empty

Coming Soon:

• Support for receiving text commands using Siri Shortcut. This will allow us to simulate the ford shortcuts for starting and unlocking. It will allow you to say any command and the script can parse it and execute it. Meaning status feedback and advanced commands like frunk, SecuriAlert, etc.
• Support for small and large widget layouts
• Support for multiple instances of the widget (Multiple Vehicles)
• View messages that are in FordPass app.
