I order Premium RWD Ext Battery on 2/3/21 got my car on 1/3/22, that was a pain in the ass, I almost said no way. But, I am glad I have it now, it is one of the best looking EV's on the market, it drives wonderful, I like the ride and comfort. I only have 750miles so far but I have enjoyed all of them. It has some quirks, yes, but I'm getting use to them. Never bought a car that didn't have some.
I have 700 miles! I should have less... but I keep taking back roads to drive more time -- you know to build up the GOM.

I warned people (especially ID.4 owners) about the harsher ride of the Mach-E (and Model Y). I currently own a RAV4 Prime and Model Y (long story - but I got another one). The Prime is almost as smooth/gentle like the ID.4 and I feel the harshness of Y when I drive it.

If you want something smoother... go test drive an Ioniq 5. It's a "sedan-ish" version of the ID.4 with fewer glitches and quirks.

I personally prefer a firmer suspension and am fine with feeling the bumps and bruises. What I'm not a big fan of the Ioniq 5 and Model Y - is their weight. They feel heavy and sluggish. Whereas my Mach-E RWD Standard Range was a light and nimble EV closer to what I experience with the Prime. 300-400lb can make a huge difference in handling.
I would never expect a Mustang to ride like a sedan and yet the looks of a Ionic is too space edge for me. Definitely test drive for comfort, yet finding a sporty looking affordable car. (Aston Martin is comfortable)

I'm 11k miles in on my Select AWD, my only regret was not having enough money to order a GTPE. I love this car and I'll probably upgrade in a few years depending on how EV incentives play out.

I am done with mine after owning it for 3 months, it has been in the shop now for 28 days and counting. Almost a lemon in my state. I think if you live where it’s warm it’s a great car, but it’s not ready for prime time in colder winters. It’s really a shame, I loved that car but I need something reliable all year long, I just can’t justify keeping it.

I had the same experience. I test drove 4 times across all trims except GTPE and never picked up on ride issues. It makes a person wonder if they just got a "bad one." Tire inflation is certainly a factor. I think temperature is a factor. Add up all the variables and, of course, sales people leading you down only the smoothest roads and I think I can explain how I got here. What happens next for me, I'm not sure. I'm hesitant to invest more money in the car not knowing whether my opinion of it will improve.
I know ours is riding a little harder now because it's winter and it's cold so per Ford recommendation our tires are inflated 2-3 PSI over "standard" one it warms up we'll drop it down to standard pressure and it'll likely be more comfortable. Even then it rides smoother than my WRX.

I have 10,000 miles on my Mach e Premium and I have had no mechanical issues. Just some issues with software that eventually seen to get worked out. Although I do not use my PAAK, I gave up on using it a long time ago. Otherwise, love my car. Good Luck!

Mach-e AWD extended
I have a tesla Y and a Mach-E AWD premium extended range. I prefer the Mach-E overall. the tesla seats are nicer and they get better range out of a similar battery/motor. actually, the flat not well-contoured seats are my only big issue with the car. the mach-e hold more than the y, looks nicer (I think), and the federal/state tax credit doesent hurt. plus for some reason, I really like that it projects the pony on the ground when you get close :)

I really like the overall design / price and I give Ford 4 1/2 stars. Software gets 1 star. Paak does not work well, so many bugs with the MME and Ford is terribly slow to fix, lack of OTAs & BC, three recalls, and four service visits (10+ days) in six months for; 1 visit for brake recall, four visits for Paak and numerous software updates they can't push OTA. Dealership experience gets two stars.

For me the software issues have been a huge disappointment coupled with Paak and the one fob BS. My last six vehicles have been from two manufactures as I'm usually very happy and stay brand loyal. In a few years there will be so much competition I doubt I with buy another Ford for one simple reason SOFTWARE experience.

I've got 7,000+ miles on mine. I look forward to driving it every time I get into it. It makes my ride to work so much more enjoyable.

I got mine in October 2021. Never had a problem and I absolutely love the car. At first, the central console could be wanky, but now with a couple of s/w updates it's working better. The car is so much fun to drive. I'd even say it's the best car I've ever owned. It's also my first Ford (and American car). Couldn't be happier!

I bought my route 1 on a whim. Wasn’t sure I was going to love or hate it. Gotta say, I’m glad I bought it! Only small issue I have seen is a lag in the computer sometimes. Sometimes takes 5-10 seconds before I can enter in an address or switch to radio. Hoping the next software update will take care of that.
it’s a solid car, quick enough I love not having to buy gas. I might want to add tint to the roof come summer. We’ll see.

I love my Mach E. 3,800 miles, no issues. There are only 2 things I don't like - #1 The seats aren't firm enough and materials are cheap (I had a Mercedes previous to this car) and #2 The B&O sound system is disappointing - not sure it's any better than a standard stereo system you could find in a GM product. Sound dampening is horrible, panels vibrate, etc.

There are absolutely too many negative posts. Since I'm one of those folks that likes to complain (when appropriate) I feel obligated to say when something is right. Here, FORD got it right!! Is it perfect? No. I've got a list of 20 things I would have done differently or included in my pricey 2021 MME GT. They're all little things: door buttons should light when someone approaches the car that's already occupied- they can't find the buttons; there should be heads- up display included; I still can't tell when I'm on Sirius XM via Android play or the one built into the car; the trunk/frunk buttons should ALWAY be on the display, and stuff like that. I wish it had a spare tire (I hated the run flats and no spare in my BMW convertible too) I'm old fashioned. Some of these can be improved by OTA updates, others in the next design refresh.

But the car is a blast to drive. It's fast, handles well, great daily driver. I'm used to European cars (lots of BMWs, Audis, Lexus in my past) my summer car is an old MB convertible) and this car is still fun. I figure I'm not spending $125-$150 per month but charging at home for maybe $50-$60 per month (our KWh are cheap here).

I love driving past my favorite gas stations. It turns heads everywhere - like when my son in law went to pick up his nice new Hyundai and all the sales guys (& gals) came out to oogle the MME !

I HAVE JUST INSTALLED CHARGING AT HOME AND IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE. NO RANGE ANXIETY. I live in the Wash-Balto area and there are plenty of fast chargers, but not if i drive to FL or upstate NY or western NC. I have other cars for those trips. The national charging network is not ready for prime time but getting better every day.

I ordered the day they opened ordering, May I think And got my car in October. Too long, yes, but not ridiculous. Also no markup back then.. Would i do it again - yes, absolutely. Is you need it for long distance weekly drives, there's probably no EV for you yet. My range, listed at 270 has never gotten above about 220 or so and in cold weather (like all winter) more like 175-195. Still plenty for commuting and daily driving.

Today there's still no other EV I'd pick (maybe the Porsche Taycan but I'm not spending twice the price)

If you're OK with the range limitations and can do home charging, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Enjoy your MME !!
