This actually makes sense. I was having some issues with android auto for a few days and disabled wireless AA. In that time, I remember using the built in nav again, and remember noticing the blue bar actually was working as intended. I never put the two together, just thought it was a fix in one of the OTAs. But since I've went back to using AA I haven't tried the built-in nav, especially since it still won't show the actual roads for me.I apologize for bringing this old one back up, but now after "extensive testing" I was able to recreate the bug of random flashes. In my case it seems to be a bug that occurs when using sync nav but Android Auto is also running. The best I can tell is that although I'm using sync for nav, Android Auto still has the map open and for some reason it periodically updates the Android map in the background causing the bar to flash.
If I disconnect from Android Auto I cannot recreate the bug. I haven't tested to see if that's can occur using AA via USB versus wireless.
