Hi All,
As more ponies are starting to find their for ever stables, it's more important than ever to know what is a fair insurance quote for your new stallions.

After taking a glance at other threads I didn't really found a detailed info about the quotes people get. So in order for us to compare apples to apples I suggest that if you got a quote from any company please post it here so we all know how much it is and what it covers.

Example here:
Car Type: Premium SR RWD - 2 drivers

1. Company Name - Kemper Auto
2. Bodily Injury 25-50k
3.Deductible Collision and comprehensive 1K
4. Towing assistance - not Included
5. Uninsured motorist 25-50k
6. Your city - San Francisco
7. Quote -$100 a month

That sounds about right. I am making the following assumptions
multi car discount
auto/home discount

There’s a reason for that. Too many variables. Isn’t much use having a 400 page thread about insurance when only a small percentage match your scenario of age, discounts, driving length, coverage differences, parking scenario, city, accident history, secondary drivers, trim level, blah, blah, blah

Database could be useful though with filters

Just remember people these cars come with roadside assistance for a certain amount of time I think or it could be for duration of car as in if car stops moving or no power you will have to call Ford or it’s contracted tow company to tow it to dealer for repairs but maybe I am wrong and we will need towing on insurance for this car. But I do believe that is covered by Ford

My coverage with all the bells and whistles with multi car discounts, multi line discounts and long time status discounts puts me around $600 every six months with State Farm. I am just outside San Francisco in an area with fairly high rates from what I have been told.
I have very high limits because I have been doing this over 30 years and I have seen some pretty awful accidents and dealt with some pretty sad claims.

I have multiple car insurance coverage by Universal Insurance here in Puerto Rico, and a future Mustang Mach-E purchase coverage will be added at a great discount for me. But I have an advantage that none here have: An office at less than 330 feet away! I have physically walked to that office from my home. It was built in 2017 during the tropical storm season, even after Hurricane Maria hit us. It is closer to my home than the gasoline station that I visit occasionally. They are so nice that I will add my home to their coverage when the. mortgage is paid off.

ok I quoted a vehicle add to Progressive effective Feb. 1 - nothing else but my Fusion on the policy, no home or anything - using my exact VIN. Figured including the actual coverage amount would be important to have context... bottom line $332/6 months.

I am 100% fine with this number although I decided a while back on the next renewal I was going to revisit all of my numbers so the context given here may not be what I end up actually doing.

yes this has been standard Ford policy for a very long time. my Fusion had it (which I forgot a couple of times after tire damage and paid out of pocket, then went "oh that was dumb")...

60K miles / 5 years is currently standard: Ford® Roadside Assistance | Call 800-241-3673 For Help | Official Ford Owner Site

edit: the duration of the Roadside Assistance offering is also on your window sticker once you can access it:

I bet you get the "cute puppy avatar" discount too. Not all of us have that privilege.

Would you like to tell me what you mean by that?
I think he was just trying to be funny and say your dog is cute. I don't think he meant anything by it; most of his posts are intended to be humorous.
