I recommend an all-weather for your situation the Michelin Cross Climate or Vredestein Quatrac Pro. The difference is better traction in the snow and wet than in an all-season. They offer the winter tire rating of 3 peak mountain snowflake but can be driven all year round. I think you would need to go with a 235/55/19 to get the proper load rating. The advantage of going up a size is you could slightly lower the tire pressure to 36psi and get a somewhat softer ride over bumps. The disadvantage is these tires would cost you some range

Canadian Tire should sell the Vredestein Quatrac Pro

here is a TR test Quatrac VS Pirelli VS CrossClimate

I just got the Hankook Ion Evo AS and have put about 1000 miles on them. They are great. I highly recommend them and would get another set after these are done. Noticably much quieter road noise.
Any range effect compared to the stock OEM Michelin’s on the premium?

I have a fair bit of life left in mine but will need to special order anything beyond the Michelin Primacy All season which oddly are always in stock at Costco.

The cross climate don't come in the proper load rating for the Mach e. Folks who have had them also said they reduce range somewhat.

But they are an excellent all season tire that works well in snow.

I'm picking up a used 2021 MME Premium ER AWD in a month or so. It has 40k miles and the rear tires are completely worn. Front has maybe 3/32 or 4/32 left. I will be ordering a set of the Hankook from discount tire/americas tire.
different question: curious if you checked the SOH of the battery on a used MME before purchase and any concerns about battery degradation.

I’ve not noticed any difference. But the weather has been inconsistent and I have not had a chance to make any long runs yet.

I have a 2021 mustang Mach-E extended range premium RWD. It currently has factory Michelin tires 225/55R19 BSW all season. I will need to replace them by the end of summer early fall and I’m looking for recommendations on what tires to replace them with. I live in Canada so I’m looking for an all season tire I don’t want to have to put snows on, but we do get snow where I live. I find the current tires to not have grip when the roads are wet and the backend tends to walk out.
I have the same build and I'm at 27,000 miles. I should have rotated my tires at 15,000 miles but I didn't. I rotated them around 22,000. I expect the tires to last about 35,000 mi. My, now rotated, rear tires have lots of tread. The front ones have some life left to take me through summer/fall. I'm in California, no snow.

I'm just curious how long your tires have lasted.

I read some press from Michelin saying that that the OEM Primacy. A/S is the most efficient tire they make. I bet the Hankook is not more efficient

I have consistently rotated them at every maintenance interval currently have 63,000 km or 39,146 miles on these original tires. I do expect to get through the summer on them, and will replace them in the fall.

How do you check SOH? I'm not really concerned. The car has an extended warranty from ford so it's good for I think 8 years. We will only be putting 5k-7k miles a year on it.

The most efficient that THEY (Michelin) make. Maybe not the most efficient available from any brand.

Noting that there are other manufactures that make tires specifically designed for EVs, which the OEM tires are not specifically for EVs.

Don't misunderstand these companies have different EV tire strategies. Hankook (considered to be a value brand) makes the Ion line. The entire Ion line is for EVs. Michelin, Continental, Pirelli, and other premium tire manufacturers make EV tuning a feature so within line some tire sizes based on OE fitments are made to be best in class rolling resistance.

Most manufacturers have a similar strategy for SUV sizes. Car-size tires are built for a certain set of requirements and SUV-size tires are built differently within the same line.

It will be interesting to see what strategy works best. I think the tuning philosophy will sell more tires because someone with an ICE is likely to avoid an EV-specific tire.

And to be clear I don't believe the Hankook will add any range to your car, it's probably close to the OEM in terms of efficiency. All the reviews I have read say the Hankook is quieter and has a smoother ride.

I haven't paid attention to see if I have a bump in range to be honest. Compared to the OEM tires the main thing I notice is a significant reduction in road noise.

Discount Tire. It was quick and easy. I tried to get them from Firestone but for some reason they aren't able to get any good tires for the Mach-E. I called them for two months and they kept telling me they couldn't order the Hankooks and the ones that they did recommend were always out of stock.
