I've had the same email from Hannah and what concerns me is why are they only talking about orders placed up to 17th February? I placed my order on 9th March, and as far as I'm aware there was absolutely no sign that the government were going to change the rules on the 18th, and the website let me order with the grant discounted. What happens to those of us who ordered in good faith between 18th Feb and 18th March? I asked Hannah in case the date was wrong and she said " I have put 17th February, and that is correct. That is what the Government have given as the guidelines for the next steps in the grant change for our customers. We are still awaiting answers on this. "

I know the grant change isn't Ford's fault, but I don't feel they are dealing with it very well - I don't know how many orders are affected, and how much it would cost Ford if they were to honour the price we were quoted, but I think they should do the right thing and cough up the £3000!

I hope we hear of a decision before the long Easter weekend when I doubt any of the decision makers will be working!

For me, no grant = no Mach E and all this hassle is spoiling the excitement of waiting for this brilliant car!

A question to anyone else who will have to cancel if the grant price isn't honoured, how long are you going to risk leaving cancelling in case you lose your £1000 deposit? This is another reason why we need a decision ASAP!
Spoke to Rebecca yesterday. We should be OK as the more recent orders are protected. Has helped make up my mind about which order to keep.

My email from Hannah late afternoon didn't sound hopeful at all! Do we know if Rebecca and Hannah are part of the same concierge team?

Hannah is Rebecca's replacement.

I suspect they don't want to offer hope! As someone is probably already is deep poo for this and they don't want to be also in the poo with them! Surely whoever is running this mache launch in the uk will be sacked?

For once I've had a quick response to my email to my dealer, the general sales manager has confirmed that my order was definitely entered into the portal, so fingers crossed....

MSC IMMACOLATA currently off the coast of Brest heading in a NE direction. The wind is currently blowing from SW (and its rattling my windows) so hopefully should give her a bit of a helping hand. Currently she is due in Le Havre early Monday but if this wind keeps up might make it late tomorrow. Then, hopefully, next stop Antwerp

That's a shame. Looks like her track is going to take her about 30 miles south of Portland Bill. That, coupled with the fact that looking out of my window it's quite hazy out to sea, I won't be able to see her go past. Never mind, I'll keep an eye on the tracker and wave anyway. ??? How sad is that?

ID4 vs MME
At the end they say the ID4 will have £5k extra residual after 3 years and 30k miles. Both are the SR size.

So that appears to make the ID4 their winner.

And they have some stupid banter. I think the review is one of the worst i've seen. Or at least pointless.

Was interesting to hear the ID4 not getting the efficiency you would hope for. Lots of reviews and real world tests show Mach E efficiency is good and max ranges will match (or even exceed) the US EPA range estimates.
