I have to admit that I read it the same way you did. I though you could lock it before you left.
It’s good to know that that doesn’t seem to be the case! I suppose could always switch it off at the fuse box if it’s a concern...

That's where I see it. Can pay as a optional extra.
Mind you if your away and you get on with the neighbours. I'm sure they will soon realise that's not your car using up the electric. Unless living out in the sticks with nothing but fields for miles.

Sorry, stupid question but how is the scheduling of home charging and level of charging controlled? Is this done from the charger app or from the car via fordpass? So say I want to set charge from 11pm to 80% for example. I presume it is via fordpass since not all chargers are "smart" type and also because you would want charge level option wherever you charged.

Also, does anyone know if there are any added benefits of going for the ford home charger over other manufacturers?

Many thanks

Where do you do that?
I don’t know for that charger but for the Ohme it doesn’t have a lock but you can change the schedule in the app. Does that charger have a schedule inside an app?

In a perfect setup the charger talks to the car. So the Ford charger would sync with the car to do that. However some chargers don’t have the software to do that. Then I’m not sure how to manage that.

You should be able to set time to charge and charge limit in the car. You then just plug in your charger and then the car takes over. You should be able to set your car up via the Ford Pass app as well. Page 159 of the owners manual

I have a Ring battery Cam, that monitors the parked cars (and spaces when not there), that way you get a real time notification of movement and the ability to have a nice chat to whoever is there. Best £70 I ever spent, also if someone has the kahoonee's to charge on your drive when you are not there, then lets hope they're not waiting in your lounge as it charges! Plus having waited so long to get your MachE, you'd be gutted if someone steals it.....

Nothing at all! See the link about to the app document. It's sad.

I have iegeek cameras which via the app can show you 4 cameras in 4 squares on your phone. One's above the garage.
I recommend them. About 50 quid a camera no subscriptions to pay.

Being older, I probably have more experience (of being a cheapskate)!
You might not be older. I did us both an injustice. We're just frugal.

After all the push backs and waiting first in queue LOL when I Pre ordered
It’s give time to work out the car is not going to meet our needs as far as towing our small caravan I’m out
Just been a hard decision to make but finally there
Just got to decide what next, I have worked electric cars not realistically having towing ranges except Tesla s, and that’s not going to happen
I wish you all the best and enjoy

I'm surprised you even considered it. The towing weight was always stated as 750 kgs.

Shame. I hope you find something.
