Found this ER AWD on autotrader. Called them up, paid the deposit, filling out paper work this afternoon… if the rumour on the street about eCall fix being done by 16th is correct, then I’ll be driving this bad boy home next weekend. Happy Days! ??

If anyone wants to pick up my original Black, AWD ER order, let me know and I’ll pass you onto my dealership in London. It’s left Antwerp and cleared customs, so latest arrival is 6th July, but likely earlier

EDIT: Forgot to say, the reason I did this instead of waiting for my original order which is really only an extra week or two wait, is that this puts me down as a new order with 2.9% financing instead of the original 4.9% we were lumped with for being early adopters… I beat the system. Lol. Anyone who took my or any other cancelled order, would also be eligible… so worth shopping around if you fancy the monthly savings.

AT LAST!!! When my dealer emailed me yesterday to say I'd gone to COMPOUND OUT on Vista, I was afraid he'd looked at the wrong car or something because nothing my end had changed!!! But now my F12 on Ford dashboard has updated and also says COMPOUND OUT on 10th June!!!

My dealer reckons I've actually left Antwerp, but TOSSA has been in Antwerp since 1st June and FORENSO is miles away. I'm sure someone has said somewhere on this thread what each stage means but I can't find it - do you guys reckon I'm sitting in Antwerp waiting for a boat? If so, is it just the 2 boats I've named doing the Antwerp to Flushing run? Is there anywhere I can find when TOSSA next goes, or do they wait for a full boatload? Or could I actually be in Flushing, with updates a couple of days behind?

Assuming you're trying to do the f12 thing?

I use a microsoft surface pro that has edge, never use that-can't stand it! I use Chrome and can access f12 info- not that much is happening as the car was only built a week or so ago!

I tried Chrome and F12 works after you do a Ctrl R
My car arrived in Antwerp on the 9th on Grande New Jersey and as of today status is Compound In, so some progress, not sure why it can take up to 35 Days in Antwerp before shipping to UK.

As a security measure, you won't be able to see or do much with the vehicle until it's in your possession. To link up the vehicle with FordPass, you need to confirm a prompt inside the vehicle.

You are most likely already in Flushing as it's something like a 4 to 6 hour trip from Antwerp

That's what I'm hoping but if I am then there must have been another boat, not TOSSA or FORENSO which they used so far - also is it on arrival in Flushing when Ford send the automatic email to say something like "your car is now in our European port, it's on it's way"? Not had that although I know Ford has all sorts of delays in it's systems!

Yes I got the "European port - 6 weeks" email a day after it arrived in Flushing on 12/05. Got nothing when it arrived in Dagenham two weeks later on 21/05.

My car then got to the dealership on 03/06 and I had the "almost ready - 1-2 weeks" email two days later on 05/06.

Instead I thought I'd post some good news, and some minor not so good news/questions! ?

Like a (small!) number of us here such as @Coolcatshaft , my car did actually reach my dealer last week ?, albeit just after the eCall issue. Given I was at the stage where I thought the MME was a figment of my imagination, I decide to take the bus to the dealers (yes, sold my car the other week ?) and have a quick look at the car.

Overall, looks fine after its very lengthly journey - but did notice a few things that I thought I'd highlight here ...... I should emphasise that my wife says I always notice/find the most minor issues so please treat my observations accordingly ?

1. Panoramic roof - the fit looked pretty reasonable all round, with just a slight misalignment between the left and right-hand side. The left-hand side channel gap was much less than the right - per the pics (apologies the magnification is a bit different but hopefully you can see what I mean). I'm not particularly concerned given it looks OK overall, and not as bad as some of the reported issues.

2. Rear boot/hatch molding - the bottom of the right hand side molding was not aligned against the rear window, as the left hand side was, and didn't appear to be attached very well. Interestingly I noticed this was similar on all 3 MMEs at the dealers. This is more of a concern as it could be easy to catch this when cleaning the car etc., and it might get worse over time. Has anyone else observed this?

3. Front hood - finally, the hood seems slightly out of alignment. There is a reasonable, consistent gap on the front offside corner, but the front nearside corner is very close to the side panel. The gap is very small. Slightly more concerned about this, but I assume this is something that the dealer may be able to adjust.

So, in summary, I am probably being a bit pernickety - what do you think? ?

Notwithstanding, I am really looking forward to picking this up, hopefully in about a week's time if all goes well ?

Good news that your car is with the dealer @David-HC!

Ive not had a chance to inspect mine but I did notice from the dealers photos that the access port to jumpstart to 12v isn’t sitting flush with the rest of the body work… I’m wondering if you, or perhaps @Wonky_Donkey @portlandg or @Smoothbond have noticed something similar? If not, I’m hoping it just needs a firm push back in.
