I went for the Ford Connected Wallbox. It took ages as they were not in the UK until a week or so ago, but mine was actually installed today by the excellent British Gas EV Team, who handle the (virtual) survey, paperwork and installation etc.

I've attached a pic of the charger location, and one of it actually charging my car ?

Yes, I ordered it when I placed the order for the car i.e. I ticked the box under "charging options - request a quote to install Ford Wallbox". I don't think it's ever been showing on the Ford Website as "in stock".

Ford has outsourced this to British Gas - sounds odd I know, but they have established an EV Team, who have been very good indeed. The chargers arrived in Germany a couple of weeks ago, and have finally reached the UK!

For the paint protection on my MME im going to try Carpro Cquartz lite. I have Cquartz Pro on my Hellcat and its amazing but very expensive as it has to be done professionally.
I will just use reload every few months during the wash like on the Hellcat and that still beads and sheds dirt for 3 years now.

Have you gone for the 7kw or 22kw

I have a 7kw pod point at home and a 22kw at work though cars can only charge upto 11KW on AC, including the MachE.
