Tappsdate and Tappstime is something i've never seen but others can.

I think it is when someone has last been in the car to access it ie to start the "engine" .

not for me. I ordered my First Edition on the release date in November 2019. Since then, I have been feed a pile of ? from Ford mostly emanating from the US. I am genuinely really happy to see a few people Strat to receive their cars over here BUT during the time their cars were en route from Antwerp to the UK, my delivery date has been put back ANOTHER 3 weeks. There are no floodgates here I can assure, just angry customers who cancelling their orders and losing whatever faith the had in the Ford brand.
I feel for you, friend! I don't want to sound like a Ford apologist nor do I have any big stake in this game. But with this being a new platform, the pandemic, chip shortages, the technical issues it had with Mache and custom orders being not the traditional sales model for Ford, I'll cut them a slack. There are disruptions everywhere.

We may think some other companies like Tesla is more forthcoming. Unfortunately, its powerful CEO often lies and we only know about the real issues long after. Ford employees I suppose find staying silent is safer than tell some lies.

Obviously, we all react differently to the same situation. Some get agitated and frustrated about small things (myself included), some just take things much more lightly. People are free to choose their reaction to their situation.

I've been waiting myself for 15 months to get a few pages of documents done to remove a property line inside my property made of 2 parcels. First the pandemic hit and the city offices shut down. Then my engineer wasted 5 months looking for a surveyor and finally I had to find one myself. Then the city took another 1.5 months to review & approve a 2 page document! When I gave it to the bank for their 1-2 page doc, it got too busy with 2nd round of PPP loans and made me wait another 2 months. Even the title co. had too much confusion and spent another 2 months. I had to solve their problem and finally a VP level person had to do the simple thing that their branch manager didn't know how to do. Even now, there is confusion on who in the city will get it recorded and I have to solve their internal confusions.
And the city keeps threatening me that my application will expire due to delays and I will lose a good chunk of money and start few things all over again!

So sh** happens. Whenever there are many people involved, things may not go too smoothly. People go on vacations, get locked down or fall sick, shorter weeks and working hours, capacity restrictions, people being lazy & inefficient working from home, incompetence, ignorance, etc. etc.

So what do I do? I read this forum to pass my time and relieve my tension. I can't buy a new car now; need all the cash for the project. So I vicariously drive the Mach-e. thru the forum members. :)
I reckon many of you are doing the same. At least you have a choice to move on to another car. I don't have a choice for MY WAIT!:)

I dont understand what tappsdata is. Is that the same as f12?
Hi @Iwantonenow

The following was posted recently by someone more knowledgeable than me which seems to be a simpler way of getting to the data (well, it worked ok for me at any rate ?)

https://rs-analytics-prod.apps.pd01e.edc1.cf.ford.com/api/v1/cvfma/vehicleData/WF0TR***********

You just need to put your VIN at the end ......

As others have said the tappsDateTime shows if there has been any activity in the car.

Hope this helps,
David

See attached for what this method shows. I have no clue what this means at all, so if somebody is able to translate, that would be wonderful!

Why Sunday afternoon? Is there a boat to Flushing then?!?!
No it's because the F12 seems to take about two days to update. Mine got to Dagenham on Friday 21/05 and my F12 status kept showing "compound in 12/05" (which is when it got to Flushing) until late Sunday afternoon when it changed to "compound in 21/05" to reflect it's arrival in Dagenham.

So actually yours may update on Monday afternoon if your car left the compound on Friday and got to it's destination Saturday. For some reason it always takes 2-3 days and always seem to update after lunchtime. I've been bashing the refresh button on F12 for weeks now!

So my car has been parked in Fords PDI place for a week and a half now. So frustrating knowing that my car is only 20 miles away yet I've no idea when I'm getting it. I don't understand how it's taking this long to carry out a PDI

My dealer managed to carry out my PDI in 1 day. The next day it was being valeted and I picked it up on Wednesday. And that was only because I had commitments on Tuesday and couldn't pick it up. There are no PDI'S to be done after it has left Antwerp. Your dealer does the final PDI. In my opinion if he tells you any different then they are stalling you. Even if they have a few to do it shouldn't take more than a couple of days.

Mine has also been at the dealer since beginning of the week. Apparently they can't do the PDI at there compound and it's now booked in at Dunton, which it should have gone to in the 1st place. On the good side, they now accept the finance is done by them, after Hannah had communicated with them. Make what you like out of that. Pick up next week now. Hopefully.
Have a good Bank Holiday weekend people

This is the disused airfield trustford uses in yorkshire?

I think if you have the personality/temperment then it's time to get very assertive with them? Where's my car? I need it etc

Keygate:

Probably won't help but I've emailed both Georgia and Hannah asking this to be raised to whomever it needs to to have this addressed for all UK customers including retrospectively for those who have already received their cars.

I know it's not an issue for everyone but it's the principle and final slap in the face to the loyal and extremely patient UK customer base.

Perhaps if they get an influx of complaints about this it might carry more weight.

Agreed, they have no right to change the spec/swap out to a bog standard key without consulting me/you first or explaining why before car delivery.

Somebody else can probably give you a better explanation than me but basically I’ve learned the main things to look at are vehicleDateTime and tappsDateTime. These are like mine, both dated yesterday, and apparently it means that someone has turned our cars on, either to do checks, or to move them around the compound - I really really hope they are moving our batch ready to be loaded onto a boat to Flushing but who knows?!

Trying to think positively, I know July feels like ages away, but time flies and don’t forget we’re almost into June. Also don’t forget people like @portlandg (sorry to pick you out Grahame but you’re the best example I can remember!) had ETA either 5th or 12th June when they were at the stage we are now at, but now he has his car a couple of weeks earlier. So I’m still clinging onto hope that I can get mine by 26th June when I have 2 weeks holiday to really get to grips with my MME!

Mine is already at the dealers and I expect to be asked to pay for it on the 4th June! So panic stations!
Currently, the Ford UK site shows the OTR price for a RWD SR of £41,330 (and with Ford Logic, the order page in my Ford account). I ordered the car last December when It was £40,270. I am due to pay the balance next week -the car is at the dealers.
Clearly, I should pay the price that was current at the time of order so, I dare say that will be resolved in due course. He currently thinks the new price applies!
In any case, I can find no on line announcement to a price increases on Mach Es.
Is anyone else aware of such a price increase?
