I would take what Hannah says with a pinch of salt to a degree also.

My car arrived at the dealers 2 weeks before she said it would leave Flushing.

You can find her on Linked In/Instagram to see what her previous occupation was.......Then make up your own mind.
She has been very open and honest with me so far so I can only judge on my experience. I doubt they would skip or even be allowed to skip the QC process regardless given the differing EU/UK/US etc standards.
On a side note, whether her previous occupation is relevant or not she seems to be doing a good job for a number of people on this forum. fantastic news yours arrived before expected, a welcome surprise I would have thought. Enjoy it!!

What does her previous occupation have to do with anything?!? I’m genuinely puzzled.

I dealt with Hannah on a number of occasions and I found her to be very helpful despite being stuck in a difficult situation.

Never mind. Forget I said anything.

I just found it very odd from going from her previous employment working in a supermarket to an “Electrification Specialist” or whatever her title is in 6 months.

As I say, I just found it very odd.

I know what you mean- but I've dealt with her on a few occasions and found her very professional.

Could it be that she'd left uni with a decent degree and couldn't find work except working for a supermarket (shop floor or management?) Then this job at Ford popped up which fitted her education.

Just thinking out loud. I could be way off beam as I don't know her age!

My Car is now confirmed to be at my dealers...
They've got the private number plate paperwork...
Hopefully they've ordered the accessories I've paid for...
And of course booked it into their workshop to be PDI'd and accessories fitted...

I'm sat here twiddling my thumbs until Thursday week when they say it'll be ready for me...

Sigh...

This was the one way in which my dealer really impressed me, my car arrived with them on the Wednesday, and I picked it up on the Friday, and they PDI'd it, fitted accessories and Diamondbrite'd it in that time! (Although having washed the car since, I've spotted a few examples of where the Diamondbrite application was rather sloppy!!!)

Well, look at the calendar Stephen-

This is one of the busiest weeks in the motor trade, number plate change, plus lockdown easing and the weekend being a bank holiday.

In all respects my dealer has been excellent and he is personally making sure it'll be ready.

Are you happy with yours in all respects?

Just heard that Charlie Watts passed away earlier today.
Really sorry to hear of this.

A great unflashy drummer who knew the importance of beat and rhythm. I guess that's the end of the Stones touring. They said some time ago that without Charlie they would retire...

Hi Tracy,
have you checked the website for available stock, available within two weeks? There are a few specs and colours available.
I believe Ford will allow you to cancel your order and pick one up that is already here, your spec and colour may be on there.
I collected mine in about 10 days.
That is exactly what I did. I had a deposit down, spotted a cancellation got a deposit down and hounded the dealer until I got it. About 10 days as you said. Had to compromise on the price (extra £8k for the 1st ed) but loving cruising around in the nice weather.

Just saw the plug and charge option in the Ford pass app. Once enabled it shows ionity as the only compatible network. Anyone tried this out? How did it go? (Assuming it automatically bills whatever card you assigned to the Ford pass card)
I have the plug and charge set up. I'm hoping that I rolls out to other providers as it is so convenient; auto billing just get an email receipt. I have had the occasional issue where it has not automatically started. I called ionity and they got me to firmly push the connector in and hold it for 30 secs to make sure the car can be identified, then it worked fine. I presume there are chips and readers in the charge point and connector. I suggest always having a back up plan!

Trev are you charging near to Crawley Down? Only asking because next year we plan to come up that way to see friends.

Yep. I’m glad I managed to see them live a few times. The gig at Hyde Park a few years ago was amazing!

I think Keef is going to outlive us all though!

Right then all you old sweats that have their car, can you help with this one?

I've done about 5000 miles, still loving it and have only seen 2 in that time, but yesterday morning, early doors, was a bit cooler so I put the heating on and got nothing. Whacked it up to high, still nothing. I tried every combination with the A/C and still only cold air. I travelled for nearly 2 hours and nowt, still cold. I'm glad I decided to check before it gets cold cold but has anyone else got this issue and can you all get heat from the blowers?

Interesting few days with mine. Firstly, got a successful update (no. 3) but apart from securialert hadn't noticed any changes.
Took youngest daughter to a wedding reception Friday night and all of a sudden got a message on drivers display saying that one pedal mode had been deactivated and to use foot brake. The ? icon also illuminated on the drivers display information bar. The car also went into limp mode. Managed to pull over and then got another message saying service vehicle soon. I have only done 2300 miles. I turned the car off and then on again and message went and car came out of limp mode but ? was still showing. Stopped off to do some ?, switched off and left/locked car. When I returned and started car the ? icon had gone.
Took car to hospital yesterday and they said no faults were showing but there was a TSB that needed to be done. All seems good now.
However on checking my settings I noticed that now my drive modes are listed as whisper at the top, active in the middle and untamed on bottom. Now I am sure that initially active was on top with whisper in the middle.
