Same here, tried it last week when it was colder and didnt seem to warm up. I am out early tomorrow so will try again. The seats and wheel do heat up very well though.
I had this, you have to have the e-heater button highlighted (i had this on but it still wasn't playing, I tried everything but just got cold air. I didn't use the car for a few days and today it's working, toasty warm...the wonders of owning a Mach E!). Only difference was that i left the button highlighted when I switched off, but I don't think that would make a difference...let us know how you get on.

Not happened to me when I last had an EV, but now they are slowly becoming mainstream this would pee me off. Someone ought to design and produce a suitable sticker for their windscreen, that all ev owners should have on board.

Anyone like to suggest some wording? Any I would suggest would be banned by the forum...Along with me I guess!

Visited the dealers today to sign the final paperwork and agree delivery for this Friday, as a result the following 2 points came up:

1. Cars are no longer delivered with a 13a home charging cable - has anyone experienced this? As I've not seen anything about this on here I'm assuming it is dealer misinformation.

2. We cannot find the £1000 deposit - I've read numerous posts about this so just have to argue it out and If necessary make a claim on the credit card.

Interested if anyone has come across the cable 'issue'.
I had the 13amp cable delivered with the car and due to the amazing list of calamities I am still waiting for my charging point to be installed. Without that cable I would be in a mess. The car was delivered without the 11kw cable but it was delivered by the dealer the day after the car.

I did have to buy my car nine times before being finally successful.

If you don't mind Ben can you let me know what they say? I would be interested and I will let you know what happens in the morining,
Have you made sure E-Heat button is on in Aircon screen when trying to get heat ? - if not only picking up scavenged battery heat ( which isn't a lot ). I think if on Auto also should switch on automatically if you call for heat.

Since you’ve had extended miles in both a red and a blue MME, do you find the Grabber Blue gets more attention than the red? I have a red and was surprised how eye-catching GB is the first time I saw one.
Ford were generous enough to lend me an AWD ER but not a First Edition ? It’s just an Infinite Blue I’m driving right now rather than the Grabber Blue.

So far I’d say the Red has had more attention than the Blue, but that’s probably because it stands out more. The Infinite Blue is more akin to a summer day in the UK (grey with a hint of blue) LOL

Living in rural Shropshire, the DAB radio keeps dropping. How do I keep it on FM instead? Otherwise radio is useless out here.

Hi Sasha

Power-Up 1.4.0 isn’t intended to be the fix everything update - there are still many many bugs remaining after that update - and there will be many more updates to come which will address issues gradually.

Just want you to know you’re not alone, and I’m not sure there‘s much Hannah can do in regards to buggy software as it’s an issue almost everybody has.

There is a charging fault. I have no idea what they did with my car for 15 weeks in Antwerp but they sure didn't check it!

A quick question. Is there anyone here or that you know of that ordered their car on the 18/11/19 and STILL hasn't received it yet?

I would be interested to know for my "discussions" with Ford.

Sorry to hear of all the problems you've had. I've followed your journey with interest as I was in a similar position. I pre-ordered on 18/11/2019 too and my RR FE was stuck in Antwerp for 16 weeks, no reasons given (I pushed quite hard) except it needed a Sync 4A update (software module update). I reckon it was simply stuck at the back of the car compound and they couldn't get to it as more cars kept getting loaded off the ships and filled the space in front of it! At one point I could track it, but they would never admit to this. The Executive Office gave me mostly daily updates and prioritised my car to get it out of Antwerp (although I suspect they had little control). Mine was delivered to the dealer (Gates Stevenage) last Friday and at long last I pick it up today (with hopefully no issues). I also live close by to you in St Albans. I've followed this forum and the UK WhatsApp group but haven't been that vocal (have just been too busy!). I also complained to Lisa Brankin (Ford UK MD) and asked for a loaner. The Executive Office responded within 2 days and within 8 days they delivered a brand new loaner (AWD ER Infinite Blue) which I've been driving for the last 7 weeks with no major issues. It enabled me to sell my Mustang coupe, which I'm grateful for. There's also another Carbonised Grey in my road (but haven't spoken to them yet!). Hope yours gets resolved soon.
