Same experience for me, but I can confirm (happily) that my car does not need to be connected to WIFI to get the updates (have had the two updates so far). I can’t park my car close to my house, so am very glad it manages to do it as advertised using its own internal internet connection.

I had the same, I was in Devon (middle of nowhere) and saw I had an update waiting, pressed it without thinking it wasn't connected to Wifi and it did it's thing anyway.....

Having just read your post, thought I would check my car, also RWD ER, and my cross traffic alert is still ACTIVE. Button is blue. Weird. And as far as I can make out, I'm up to date with the software. You could try the synce 4 version of "cntrl, alt del"

Well that was an interesting journey to work this morning. My wife's Fiesta has to go for a service so for the first time in 16 weeks I have driven an ICE vehicle. One thing I forgot though, it hasn't got the benefit of regenerative braking or OPD. That was a close call. Ooopppsss

Me pls! WHilst I agree they should fix the things that dont work, if they want to give me tic tac toe, I’ll take it! If I can entertain a child for a few minutes pressing buttons on a game, rather than them swiping through my settings and pressing buttons when I’m not looking, then I’ll take it!

Can I have some help please? I have had a mail back from Hannah regarding my issue with the pre-collision assist distance indication. The tech help said that there shouldn't be a button for distance indication if you are using mykey. I am using mykey so its not an issue for them. Can someone using mykey show see if they can switch this off with the setting that I have indicated please?
I am not sure if they mean its something that will be fixed because of mykey or its supposed to be that way.

In other interesting information in the email, the technical team said to look out for an OTA in October, that will fix some of this ( I think they meant settings buttons not working when toggled).

The team has reported that is a known issue and we have implemented the fix in a new SYNC version. This will be delivered via a Ford Power-Up to your vehicle towards the end of October. Please keep a watch out for the Ford Power-Up V2.3.0 or higher.

Very interesting! Presumably we'll have a few updates between now and the end of October or they're just jumping some version numbers! I think we're currently on Ford Power-Up V1.6.0 aren't we?

Think you'll find the Mustand fob is a different size and shape. Hence my diy approach. It's sat near me slowly bonding in place with Gorilla glue...
