We're not doing too bad at the moment with the SYNC software - it's primarily BlueCruise that's the biggest and most obvious missing feature when comparing to our US friends.

On the latest UK SYNC version (22228-539*) we have everything the US guys have with the exception of BlueCruise and YouTube streaming. I must admit I was surprised we got the Alexa integration as soon as we did - I thought they may hold off on that one for ages.

Obviously the other "missing" stuff is hardware option specific like Phone As A Key etc - but that was a build decision taken by Ford and isn't part of the SYNC software.

(*Note: SYNC Version 22228-Rev 539 is not available via OTA at the moment - rollout date TBC)
Do you have this new layout of Sync4, Wonkey? Jealous

This is exactly why I invested in the FDRS gear. I own a Mach-E and a Ford Kuga, so I can update the software on both vehicles without the need to visit a dealer.

Like others, I also have the APIM updates which are on par with the US....e.g. Alexa integration etc

Patching my car with updates more than I patch some of the servers at work in the recent months!!!

Got my car booked in for the most recent recall to get the BCM and GFM (22P25) updates done and also get my door modules flashed again as they're playing up, much to the wife's chagrin when she's stood outside the car in the rain (and no it's not because I've left the doors locked). Might ask them, as it's Christmas, if they'll just run all the available updates and get them over with.

If I take out any reference to Bluecruise or PAAK and the F150 this is what I think we should have had by now in the U.K. (ref the Power-Up Version Wiki here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Power-Up_Version_History

It looks like we won't be getting the games and streaming YouTube etc but I'm not bothered about those.

Sorry about any formatting errors :) If anyone disagrees feel free to correct me. I know I haven't had 2.7.3. as no snowflake symbol, information bar or mileage in tenths. (Now done 10,500 miles)

Got to go, my cat wants my computer seat so any errors will have to stand.;)

I wish I was - but sadly no ?

I check every day to see if it’s available on FDRS - and I bet a few others are too.

Interesting that @Jonno21 says that he hasn't got the snowflake symbol when it gets cold. My MME is a 2021 Job 1 (built Dec 2020) and has had it all the time (I think). I first noticed it November (ish) 2021. The reason I know this was because I had this feature on my old Kuga and found it very useful and was waiting for some cold weather to try it out. I wouldn't pay too much attention to this list. My last update was 22-PU0707-SCH-POPB which was in September but my Sync version is 22177/473. Android Auto was supposed to fill more of the display on the same update as the SYNC4 update but that isn't the case for me. I haven't got the games either.
I believe this list is more for the US, and possibly main land EU, and not us. Once again the UK get the dreggs and not all the capabilities of this great car. Unless you are in a position to have your own FDRS set up or have a VERY kind dealer who will do any non TSB/FSA updates for free then, like me, you will just have to wait patiently for FordUK to get their act together (this could be a long wait) to get updates OTA.
The caveat is :- The precise timing and grouping of these updates has not been announced. These features may be released across several versions, and some or all of these features may not be released for certain vehicles, model years, or at all.
In other words, you will get what FordUK want to give you when they feel like giving it to you. If you are lucky

Yes my WBAC valuation for my 2021 SR RWD has dropped by about 6k in the last 3 months, frustrating while I wait for my bZ4X.
6k’s a lot. Quite a bit more than industry standard researched by Glass’s Guide. Mine lost c£100 in 6months from its retail value.

There maybe other reasons why WBAC are pricing themselves out??‍♂

I’m probably the only one here hoping for the value of ‘Stang’s to drop. I need a drop to £35k trade so I can include mine on my motor trade insurance cover I need to move and road test vehicles which I examine so potentially saving me c£1,600pa on separate road risk insurance.

Now covered 43,500 since mid June ‘21

Of interest to company car drivers is that HMRC’s Advisory Rate for mileage rises to 8p in New Year which, as a higher mileage user needing to take 22.9% charge on the road now I refined my spreadsheet, indicates that allowance would just cover an overall average cost of 7p/mile (If possible to always charge at home which by would cost 4p/mile.)

The following article offers interesting insight on new on tax rules, particularly that our car will fall into the more expensive cars for the new road fund licence rates, and growing market share of BEVs, reduction of PHEVs etc etc

Urgh, would love to get this update. The disparity between software versions across all Mach Es is an absolute joke now.

I've not had any notification of 22P25 - has anyone else? Or do we just go to a dealer and ask for it?

Go to this website https://www.etis.ford.com/ hit Vehicle Lookup, enter your reg or VIN and it may tell you. It doesn’t affect all vehicles though.

Mine is listed needing this update although when I took my car in for something else they said they had already updated it on a previous visit. I think we both have the same dealer and so far they've been accommodating with updates so presume a glitch with the Etis record?

I didn't know it was needed until I happened to look at the Etis record. Nothing came through on FordPass.

Been down to -3 today and no orange snowflake symbol for me. I'm seriously considering whether to have the dealer carry out all remaining updates listed in FDRS even if I have to pay for their time. Shouldn't have to do this though as OTA updates were the promised land. Oh well.
