- 2022 Mach-E RWD ER
Howdy neighbour ?Hi All
I have recently taken delivery of my Mach E and loving it so far. I have been lurking for a week or so extracting lots of good info, so thank you all.
I have a question which I haven't been able to find an answer to and I am hoping you guys maybe able to help, apologies if they have been asked before and I have missed it.
I didn't receive my factory code (for the door panel) when I got my car (second hand) I have gone back to the dealer and they are trying to get it. In the meantime I have seen there are other ways to get it.
I have tried the 2 fob trick which does indeed pop a factory code on the screen which initially made me happy, until i discovered that it is only a 5 digit code and here in the UK we have 7 digit codes?!?!?
Others have mentioned it is retrievable via Forscan, i am happy using Forscan and have a compatible ODB adapter but I have not seen anywhere where it is listed (which module etc).
Is anyone able to shed any light on retrieving the code for UK models?
@WD just down the road from, good to have someone else local![]()
Those key code cards are pesky little things to find even when the vehicle is new. Worth checking the glove box and the sun visor. If you get stuck let me know as I can retrieve your code using a physical connection to the car and FDRS (the dealer servicing software)
