Wind Noise

I have the Select Model MME and have noticed more wind noise coming from the driver window/roof area when going at speeds over 55 than the other cars I own (2 Subarus and a jeep Gr. Cherokee).

Questions -

1. Do other Select Model MME owners have a similar wind noise experience?
2. I read somewhere the window glass is thicker on Premium Model MME..is that real?
3. Will the Ford dealer ask for a diagnosis fee if I bing it in for this?

-No Glass Roof, so not that issue
-No leaking of water from window, so I think it's sealed. Someone mentioned a reset of the window in another thread but only see one touch reset on p105 of the manual.

Trying to figure out if it's only my MME or just standard for the car. My next step is to go test drive another Select Model MME this weekend to see if it sounds the same or not, but figured I'd ask here first.

What you’re describing sounds like what I hear. Select SR AWD. Not sure if anything is amiss per se but I totally hear it.

There's an open recall to re-seal the panoramic glass roof (which you don't have) and windshield (which you do have) for most of the Mach-Es built in the first part of this year. Stated reasons for fixing it from Ford include so that wind noise concerns can be alleviated.
Check if yours is part of the recall!

I have the recall for the windshield...will call to make the appointment and hope it's that.

Mention the wind noise specifically too, so hopefully they'll look to addressing it there.

You can look to see if your car is covered by the recall. Or, if it's covered by the windshield / roof repair recalls.
