So, those of us that assumed the cooling system is the way it is because it uses common parts and tech with other Ford vehicles were right.

But for those of us with the divider, can we pull it out and expect to be able to open the frunk with a remote/paak/touchscreen?

Yeah, would be nice if she mentioned more about what will be in the Q3 OTA update. @Ford Motor Company , can you add anything here?

Also from the horses mouth: 2022 will have greater range and '23 even more.

That's exactly what I got out of what she said. Yes. She said the divider was added because the button in the trunk was not active for launch and that an OTA would fix it

Button in the frunk is one thing - having the ability to open it from the app, screen or FOB would be more interesting IMO.

UPDATE/EDIT: She DID answer that - see comments below

Hey, SERIOUS props to Ford Motor Company here on allowing their lead engineer to be on camera, take real questions, and deal with Sandy's displeasure on certain parts. Companies don't usually do this because of the risks involved in what the engineers might say. I really respect that from both Ford's point and the engineer's point; she's willing to take the tough questions and provides real answers. Well done, Ford.

EDITED TO ADD: And she gave Sandy a little crap back on his cooling system video. Good on her!

She specifically mentioned those capabilities

Right from the horses mouth. Frunk automation is coming and cars built July forward will not have the divider
This has been known for quite some time, as it was announced as part of Job 2. The user option of ordering the front license plate frame was the other change I recall.
