Can you explain how you determine which orders are moved to production? It doesn’t appear that the Mach E’s are being built in the order they were placed. There is speculation on this group that it has something to do with the volume of sales that our dealer has. Others speculate that the production order is dependent on specs of the order. We all want a fair process. The Ford App doesn’t provide enough feedback on the progress which adds to the frustration. People who ordered after me have production dates while people who ordered before me do not. Please help us understand your process.
I’d really appreciate it if Ford could address this issue. Dealer told me 8-12 weeks when I ordered over 2 months ago and no build scheduled yet. I’m perceiving that those of us who ordered a Premium AWD ER are being delayed most, but don’t know if that’s accurate. Some idea of when I might really get the car would be appreciated. And congrats Ford for making a couple great electrics - Mustang and F150 are surely making Tesla nervous!

To be honest, my impression lately has been that vegan leather is usually now better than the real thing until you get up to Napa leather quality, which I think the F150 Lightning Platinum will have (I assume that's what Nirvana leather is, the Lariat has normal leather).
What about "rich corinthian leather"? Or have we run out of rich corinthians?

Lovin my Mach E!!! You guys have a winner on your hands. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Levine one day and I speak with him thru his social media pages, so I let him know all the positive feedback I get on my Mach E everyday. Ive had mine since March 4th and me and the wife are loving it!!!!

Rather late to the party I think. Could have done with you on here months ago to answer our questions and give us reasons for the delays. Your complete lack of communication must have cost you sales both sides of the pond. Customer care needs improvement. And Covid is NOT the be all and end all.

I think you should be transparent rather than being "one click away by private message".

1. Can you introduce yourself by name or names?

2. Can your dealings here be open and within threads not a private message unless it is regarding specific private information.

3. Can you confirm that you wont be selective about who you respond to?

It's well known that various people from the UK have attempted to engage via social media - sometimes even to very high up Ford staff and been completely ignored - either by Twitter or emails. Will you be engaged with customers or follow that 'ignore when necessary' policy?



The standards here are usually people on the whole communicate within the forum about issues not privately and often with names and sometimes even photos of the persons. I think you should be keeping within that spirit.

As you haven't commented on any comments on this thread I will also send this via PM.

Hopefully Ford eventually has a forum of some kind where they can verify VINs of actual customers, and use it as a way for bugs and issues to be filed.
I suggested it directly to them just yesterday.

Agreed, said a few times by many, folks just want to be heard by the forum members who already know the shortcomings.
