Of course I have statements that prove I've held F shares for close to a year. My question is do I need to send full statements for the previous 6 months? The statements are 10+ pages long and my name only appears on the first page, so if I only send the page that shows my F shares, there's no way to connect it to me. Is someone really going to go through 6 months of 10 page statements to verify this information? Additionally, I am not comfortable providing documents that show my account number, entire balance and other stock holdings.

What is the bare amount of information that I can send and still get a PIN?

Form seems pretty clear. Proof of ownership of 100 shares for at least 6 months. So it appears you need to send your first page and the page with the 100 shares of Ford stock for 6 months...

or just join mustang club of america and be a member for 90 days before car arrives. You can generate your pin on the website, IMMEDIATELY after you join. Takes minutes. The PIN is good for a year

My car is arriving this week. That definitely would have been less hassle.

1) A copy of the current statement page that shows your name and shows your Ford stock ownership. 1 page.

2) A drill down of the Ford investment that shows “tax lots”. This will show the dates of Ford stock purchases.

3) Whiteout any data that you don’t want to share, such as account total value, account number, non-Ford stock ownership.

4) And of course, the application asking for the X-plan PIN.

Nothing like coming late to the party, mine are held by TD Ameritrade so I just got them to send me a letter proving ownership. But you may not have enough time to get that done.

You can email the information to Ford. If you trading account is on line go to purchase date and capture that picture and go to current holding and capture that picture and email them to the contact name in the above letter. It took a few days and I got my X plan number.

I guess it depends on your brokerage. For me it was simple, just a printout if the cost basis showed date acquired, number of shares, current date and my name.

P.S. I blacked out stuff like account number and other stocks that happened to show on the same page. Just showed the dates and number of shares purchased and value as of the day I printed it.

I did both (bought F stock and MCA even before my order)...Good thing with F stock is it made me $$ ((paper gain)and I assume you) while you've held/bought it (unless you've owned since 1998) while MCA just costs $$.

I sent in one page of my last statement showing the number of shares and purchase date. I blacked-out the account number, etc.

Because I don't have time to resubmit in the event they're not satisfied with what they receive, I sent the first page and the page showing my F stock of my statements from June-November. Because I didn't have a December statement available yet, I also included a screen shot showing my current holdings along with my application. That should be sufficient.

I am clearly at fault here doing this at the last minute. I thought that I would just be able to bring the proof into the dealership, I didn't know that I needed a PIN.

Thanks, all.

You should be fine. I got my pin the same day I emailed everything in.
I suppose the holidays could slow things down a bit.

I submitted the information a week ago today and still no PIN. I could have picked my car up today. :(

I plan to call the AXZ Call Center tomorrow.

Yes, call them so it can be expedited. It should take 3 days. I assumed you emailed the information. Don’t trust mail or fax. When they expedited my request, I got the pin next day.

So yesterday I called them and the nice lady I talked to said that they were significantly backed up due to the holidays and that there wasn't anything that she could do for me. I relayed this information to the dealer and they were unwilling to hold the car for me for more than a day. So, I called back and spoke to a different person and explained the situation and, for lack of a better word, begged her to help me. She said she herself was powerless but she would relay everything to a supervisor. A few hours later a supervisor called and left the PIN in a voicemail.

I really wish I could have picked up to properly express my gratitude to the people who expedite my application.
