OTA Power Up 2.3.0 Is out

My car updated successfully last night. About 36 hours from queued to installed. I went out for a drive last night to try and jump start the update. When I got home the car connected to my Wi-Fi and downloaded 1.29gb, which must have been the update. So here’s one data point for updating via Wi-Fi. Then overnight it installed. The system update screen still shows 2.1.0 like everyone else’s.

Pretty interesting, wish my Amplifi Alien allowed me to monitor each device individually so I could tell if mine installed on a drive or once I got back in the garage wifi. But it definitely didn't take overnight, got notification on FP app 30 minutes after I came inside.

Same, mine shows 2.1.0 in the car but the mobile app said it successfully updated to 2.3.0. I have the blocks app though so I guess it's fine.

I got the notification of the update yesterday, and same thing for me. Car says 2.1.0, app says 2.3.0, but app must be right because of the new games I am seeing.

I seem to be getting the updates faster and faster between when reports first emerge on here of an update and when it gets pushed to my car. My unscientific conclusion is that Ford seems to be making meaningful progress with software updates.

Damn I’m still not sure what to do then. My Mustang downloaded 2.6gb the first day the update was available I guess because I’m in early access. But since then nothing has installed. Maybe I haven’t driven it enough? I’ve left it outside without Wi-Fi, inside with Wi-Fi. Maybe I should master reset Sync lol

I drove mine around for about 20 minutes after it queued, it then installed when I got home.

I just did that too. As soon as I pulled out of the garage I noticed the update notification on my screen. As soon as I was able to stop I pressed update - I really really want the full screen CarPlay. Received update successful notification from FP shortly after I got home.

Noticed that it finally changed in widget OTA status to something like ready to install. Turned Mach-E off and it changed to deploying as seen here:

Little while later and it was installed when I turned the car back on.

Noticed that it finally changed in widget OTA status to something like ready to install. Turned Mach-E off and it changed to deploying as seen here:

Little while later and it was installed when I turned the car back on.

My status now reads “expired” in the widget. Did you see that before eventually getting the “ready to install”?

The volume display has changed as well... Large on top and horizontal instead of vertical at the bottom.

just got the update today, the volume from vertical to horizontal, was something i noticed straightaway

I don't give a rats ass what strangers think or don't think. But it's different when it comes to factual information or stating whether my knowledge is relevant. Then I'll stand up for what I know to be true.

I provide information based on my experience and knowledge for the benefit of others who care to learn from what I can contribute. Isn't that what enthusiast forums are all about? Crowdsourcing help? And if that's what it is, isn't it in all of our interests that the best information be what lasts the longest?

Or is it just the standard internet pissing contest of opinion where everyone just gets on a soapbox to shout the loudest. If that's what Mach-E Forums becomes I'll just find another home.
