New Sync 4 Games Sudoku, Jigsaw Puzzles & Lane Change

I just watched this video of the Lightning software and it appears to have some new games. I assume these will be coming to all Sync 4 vehicles via an OTA update. In the video he plays the “Lane Change“ game. He also claims the software is quicker than previous versions.

Nice to see the games are organized into a Play subfolder.

The video also shows a one-time charge limit override option. This is much appreciated for the charge just before leaving home for a big day of driving, like road trip departures.

You can already do this in the app though? I mean, it would be nice to do it in the car, too, but it’s already super easy in the app.

I guess I've been assuming the "Charge to 100%" in the app meant right away, whereas I still want it to wait for preferred charge hours. But I've never actually tried it.

So far I've been modifying my preferred charge settings, and then I have to remember to set them back the next day.

Ahhh, I see what you mean! I haven’t tried it that way, I’ll give it a shot tomorrow as my scheduled time already started tonight!

I just switched from Android to iOS in the last couple of weeks. There was some pretty massive disappointment from my kindergartner that CarPlay does not have any games but Android Auto does, so a few native games in Sync4a will be hugely appreciated.

That being said (and off-topic), to my eye CarPlay has better resolution on the MME’s screen and the presentation is slicker. Also, full portrait view is soooo nice instead of that awkward dead space.

As said in the video, the interface seems much snappier and smoother than in the MME. You guys thing we can expect something similar through OTA, or you think it is because of better hardware?

I just switched recently as well. I like CarPlay better and Paak is working much better. Once they fix my software updates, I’m looking forward to the full screen CarPlay
