Why do you think the date range was increased? Is Ford finding cars with defective software built after that original cut off date?

Interesting. This would cover my vehicle, but at this point I feel like I should just wait for the OTA. Is there anything in 21P22 that isn't covered by the 2.4.2-2.5.2 series?

The main benefit that I have noticed from the CSP is the faster DC charging above 80 %. That was my reason for getting it done.

There were some people who started calling themselves “job 1.5” because they were built after the dates originally listed, but before the Job 2s with blue cruise rolled out. This may be for them?

I think @BMT1071 is one of the 1.5ers. Does this cover you now?

Latest "brake feel" OTA update included an increase in charge curve above 80%. Seems they're finally starting to get it out to people OTA (starting with Job 1 EA cars)

Not sure, but I have a couple theories. One is the pre-BlueCruise software still had some bugs, and these cars would benefit from having the most recent updates since OTA updates still haven't happened yet as planned. Expanding 21P22 would be simpler than creating a new TSB or CSP. And this is complete speculation on my part, but the update may also help reduce HVBJB failures that we are seeing, perhaps an optimization was made to the BECM that improves precharging or management to reduce contactor wear. Those failures are expensive for Ford. Still waiting on a TSB for that issue, but updated software seems to be part of the fix to prevent reoccurrence.

Seems like it should. Now to decide if it's worth a trip to the dealer. ??

My GT PE Job 2 2021 built Aug 30th got updated to 21P22 at the dealer today.

Edit: They claim, I am still asking for evidence that it was in fact done fully as per the bulletin.

I have a question regarding updates:
I have a Job 1 Premium AWD extended range. The car is connected to our Wifi and I’ve selected automatic download of OTAs. The car and dealer both tell me it’s “up to date.”
Will I eventually get the software updates for Blue Cruise OTA or must I go to my dealer? Thanks to anyone who can shed any light on this for me.

You will eventually get the BlueCruise OTA updates. Or, you can go into the dealer and get 21G01 performed, which will give you BC.

I have scheduled my visit for 4/18 if the updates don't begin next week.
