When my car did the update it turned off 1PD. It also reset my preferred charging locations and a few other noticeable things.
My MachE was charging when the update came through last night. It deleted the charge location and charged to 100% Instead of stopping at 90%. Didn’t think far enough ahead to see that one coming.

To add the other commenters, I love 1PD. I didn’t even know what it was or that I had it until I read something about it hear on this forum. I tried it and figured it out in one or two drives. I never went back.

I think, in one update, a while ago, they detuned the regen braking so that it was more gradual. I got the new update last night but haven’t driven yet. I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s as smooth as you let it be.
Thanks for the information! I had 2 Chevy Bolt's in the past and love 1PD. Waiting for the MME, I've been seeing comments about the regen is not smooth like other EV's. Was hoping that this fix helped some of those concerns. Hopefully this weekend I'll know for sure..

Same, it was set to charge to 60% which it did by around 2:30 am, then I had it set to install the update at 3 am, at which point it restarted charging to 100%, although it didn't erase my charge locations, it just started charging to 100%. Oh well.

EDIT: Apparently it did erase my charge locations, and reset my radio stations, and reset 1PD. The charge locations initially were still visible in the FordPass app, but after power cycling the car it disappeared.

Mine did the same. It was at 89% when the update started and should have stopped at 90 but instead went to 100. Not the first time it's happened with an update either

So odd, mine was plugged in too and it is normally set to charge to 90% because the settings and preferred locations were reset it charged to 100%

The Ford and NHTSA sites no longer list my GT VIN for the recall. I wonder if they will ever repopulate with the new info after the server failure.

Very strange. My GT just got 2.8.2, "minor updates" , but no recall patch. (and why not 2.8.3?)

I'm in EA. Vehicle is updating right now. Anyone else that got OTA and have SecuriAlert on, did you get any "Hood Opened" alerts? I've got 3 "hood opened" alerts while it's been updating.. ??

Have an idea. Since 22S41 is the first priority OTA (that I can think of) that applies to all delivered MMEs, it would be interesting to have a Poll that gives us a clue about how Ford is distributing the fix.

If I was good at polls, I would include Checkboxes for:
  • EA 2021 GT
  • Non-EA 2021 GT
  • EA 2022 GT
  • Non-EA 2022 GT
  • EA 2021 Non-GT Job 1
  • Non-EA 2021 Non-GT Job 1
  • EA 2021 Non-GT Job 2
  • Non-EA 2021 Non-GT Job 2
  • EA Non-GT 2022
  • Non-EA Non-GT 2022
  • Dealer installed 22S41 fix
  • DIY FDRS installed 22S41 fix
Any takers up to creating?
