10/03/22 Build Week Gang

My mach-e was in batch 8503 and was built on 10/04 and shipped by rail on 10/06 headed for Florida. I went to the dealer yesterday and he printed out the status which showed it had arrived in Laredo on 10/12 and the rail car is AOK 502673. I called CSX tracking services today and they didn't have any update for location ("no status available").

The sales manager also accepted my X-Plan PIN and printed out (and signed) a Purchase Agreement confirming the X-Plan price, incentive protection interest rate (2.49% up to 72 mo.) from Jan. and no ADM which I was very happy to see considering some of the horror stories I have read recently about dealer mark-ups. I also filled in the Ford credit app (on paper) and provided transfer plate ID, insurance info, and drivers license so I will be able to get out the door quickly once it arrives. He's not going to run the credit until its a couple of days out from delivery. The dealer has been great since day 1 - no complaints.

My rail car departed someplace in Texas at 1:30am this morning. Your draws a blank using the phone number but we are only 10 cars apart.

Its tempting but no. I heard some one has to approve it in the car anyways so it wont activate.

It won’t let you. It shows a message that you need to take delivery first.

@MeIIo What part of GA are you in? I'm in the 9/19 build week and can give you a little insight on the timing I've experienced being half an hour south of the Atlanta airport. You'll probably end up like me - see below. No easy way to track it once it's on either of the 2 transport trucks, unfortunately. There are several posts out, including one I did in my build group, that has tracking info for the trains once it gets to that point.

It was originally 10/12 - 10/18, then it went to 10/21 - 10/27, and has been sitting at 10/20 - 10/26 for a while now. My train was passing through Illinois as of 1pm per the last update from the automated line.

I appreciate your patience and congratulations on your new purchase! Based on the last update on October 18th, I was able to see that your vehicle is in transit with the reported location as Internati, MO. The ETA is showing November 15th. Often times these dates get changed throughout the production and transit stages to reflect a more accurate estimate...

4 Mach Es from 9/12 build week just showed up on my dealer's website as being in "stock". If they actually have it at the lot, it seems like the estimated delivery date is pretty close to being accurate.
