11/7/22 Build Week Thread for 2023 MME's

@njb are you emailing your dealer or Ford corporate? I haven't seen an email from either since Sept 23rd. I did visit my dealer in person last week to get the order number to track my build. And Ford chat did confirm my car is being built but no details.

This forum has given me more and better information than Ford so far. Thank you. I really appreciate how much everyone on the forum wants to share about getting their new car.

I am receiving unsolicited email updates from Ford. (meaning they aren't in response to my email but part of the regular updates regarding my order)

The emails were 1) we've got your order 2) your vehicle has been scheduled 3) we've finished building your vehicle and 4) your vehicle is on it's way

I have emailed my dealer but they haven't given me much information beyond my four digit order number.

I have tried Ford Chat which always tells me to use Ford Vehicle Order Tracking (which doesn't work) or contact my dealer.

So far for me Ford email updates have been the best communication. But for total information about the process you are right, this forum is the best.

Got my estimated delivery date and car shows as built. ETA is December 9th-15th to Bay Area

Cool, be sure to post lots of pics upon delivery for the rest of us to admire vapor blue color.

no emails, ordertrack.app still says preparing for shipment, ford order tracking still says not found, but

ford account says built with estimated delivery of 12/8 to 12/14.

hopefully this means before 12/31.

Received an email from Ford today that says my car has shipped and is on it's way to the dealer. The ETA is still the same, 12/5 - 12/11.

I did not get my tear tag until after my shipped notice.

Ours should be going together sounds like same shipment date. ?

I just got a rail car # from Ford by phone. Seems everything is very fluid right now, no further details available.

Last night (around midnight), my VIN was still showing zero modules. This morning, I checked again and now there's a long list of BCE modules, however no tear tag.

Ford.com still says "In Production"

Just an update..

Yesterday, I got an email from Ford.com saying my delivery date is 12/9/2022 - 12/15/2022

Last night I didn't, but this morning I have a tear tag.

Ford Pass app now shows more data, but still won't let me active.

I was able to see modules by 11/8 and a tear tag by 11/11 but no change in status — ford.com does not reflect ‘built’ yet. Seems others with a similar timeline have been shipped. Is mine awaiting re-work?

maybe it has something to do with being a CR1?

@SeattleMach @Ynnhojnorood also have CR1s but have not posted updates.

or maybe it means nothing.

Tear Tag just showed up. No information from Ford yet. Status still shows in production. No ETA but I haven't asked Ford chat yet. Vehicle not available for order tracking according to Ford order tracking site.

lol i got the email from ford saying the car has been built and it is getting ready to ship. the email also gives 12/8-12/14 as a delivery date range.

order tracking still does not work, so maybe that's just broken for me?

at what point in this process do they offer you the ability to set up Ford Options? i heard that can be done from your ford account before the car is delivered. anyone know?

My GTPE has had modules and a tear tag for a while now, but everything else is still showing "in production".

Since we will all be getting our cars in 3-6 weeks any thoughts on chargers?
The chargepoint is out of stock, I see a mossimo one on costco on sale rightnow, but I can get the autel one for the same price. ~500
A major d'oh moment, I thought I already had a nema 14-50 turns out it was a 10-50 upon closer inspection (behind cabinet)

Ford site shows my expected ETA of 12/13 - 12/19; however, i contacted my dealer just now and he says it is looking like late December, around the 30th which is cutting it a bit too close. Not sure who is more accurate.. In line with Ford Chat now to see what they show
