This is the worst experience ever. No good communication at all. This will certainly be my last time ordering from Ford.

You must not of ever ordered a car before as all manufacturers are basically this way. Your dealer should have the latest information but just so your aware, California is one of the worst states to get cars due to transport issues.

Also, just because there isn’t an update doesn’t mean the car hasn’t moved, it just means it hasn’t hit a checkpoint that caused its vin to be scanned.

Again, dealership that placed the order should be able to find out a status and ford just gave them access to vinview which uses the cars gps to see where it’s location is.

Its not a great process but it is what it is.

Then its probably waiting for parts or the dealer isn't using the new vinview system, I'd just keep checking back every week and hopefully you just get a massive update as it seems thats what happens to the fokes in Cali. Won't hear about their car for a while and then bam it shows up at the dealer.

Well looks like I am also chilling in the legendary Argentine, KS waiting to be transported to the next train for final destination, .

FC: Your order status is In Transit and has been received at Ramp 6M, Argentine, KS via convoy # 1362884460 (Jack Cooper Transport ). The estimated delivery date on the order is between Jan-14 - Jan-20.

@bigredx86 if helpful to you or anyone in similar batch/sequence as we are (9479 255/700 for me), this was my most recent GPS via my dealer's Vin View:

18:41 EST 12/10/2022 39.08136 -94.60913 KANCITY MO

Which (if my GPS GoogleFu is correct) translates to "the train just passed by Santa Fe Junction in KC". Where it goes from there on the way to New England is beyond me. Dealer is going to get me another ping on the GPS next week...

Well thats encouraging, hoping we got loaded onto the same train, if it goes through Ohio then maybe so as thats where my Dealers cars tend to get offloaded per the window sticker and dealer.

Ford Chat told me yesterday that my Thanksgiving-built Mach-E is in Mira Loma, CA, and that the ETA is 12/15/22 to Los Angeles.

I checked last week and it was only in Laredo, TX. Much quicker delivery than my previous Mach-E, which took nearly two months for delivery.

Bummer that it doesn’t seem like 4/8/22 rate and incentive lock applies due to the 2023 MY switchover.

Wow...that's FAST. Fast enough that it makes you wonder, but good for you if FC is right...and, ya know...there have to be at least a few people that get pleasantly surprised by lead time, right? Right?

Just talked to FC, I broke my 1 time every week rule, getting excited, but my status changed since the the last update which is encouraging.

Really keep hoping that stupid ETA update is wrong, haha.

I always used to go to ford.com to find FC, now I don't see the link to start the chat. My dealer has been short with updates. My original expected ETA was next week. Would be nice to have a heads up before it gets there for planning purposes.

yes, this happened to me on 12/9 - pushed out by 6 days. no email but my account changed. 11/7 build week.

No email to notify me but my range changed both online and on ford chat. But my car still arrived in the original date range, not the pushed one.

Been re-reading this portion of the thread. To emphasize something @bigredx86 mentioned...were you able to confirm that your dealer is using Vin View and actually has your MME GPS-pinned as still being at the factory in MX?

I saw an email from ford in my inbox this morning and I thought to myself “there’s that dreaded delayed email” but to my surprise it was finally the “Your vehicle has been shipped” email! Still have an estimated delivery window of 12/22-12/28. So fingers crossed ??
For reference my MME batch #9511 114/586 was built 11/26 and sat there until this morning. When I received the “built” email I had the same estimated delivery as today so no delay as of yet.

Been re-reading this portion of the thread. To emphasize something @bigredx86 mentioned...were you able to confirm that your dealer is using Vin View and actually has your MME GPS-pinned as still being at the factory in MX?

He sent me a screen shot. Still in Mexico
